Stopped off for lunch during rainy day. Warm welcome from bar staff who advised that we could bring our dog into the bar. Good classic pub food which was well-cooked and tasty. Attractive pub in pretty location overlooking the village green and cricket pitch.

Not my review. Didn't mention the carpet or lack of and certainly didn't check the toilets out. Will next time though. Just a bit of a lacklustre feel about the place when we visited , maybe the winter days and a roaring... More
