The area is considered private and some people are so much agresive, if you go there, take care. We had a bad experience with a 'person' that insult us very agressive because nothing, only to be there in the mountain that he consider its property. Regarding the restaurant, not good for the price, I have doubts they acomplish with sanitary norms.

Tor is a tiny village, hidden in the Pallars Sobira, reached either by mountain track (4x4 vehicle required) from Andorra over the Port de Cabus pass, or by a rough lane from Alins. There are a few houses and one restaurant, Casa Sisqueta, which draws its clients from far and wide. They come to tuck into home cooked, country food, featuring local ingredients.

We always go every year in the first half of September. Restaurant located in the heavenly town of Tor. Pili's friendly and kind family, Lázaro and Pili's sister-in-law, make the food even more pleasant than it already is. I think the price is cheap for what you eat since they give you a salad, cold cuts, mountain rice, chicken and rabbit stew, barbecue, desserts and ratafia for only €25. We always ask for the “Foc a Terra” table. You have to book because it is always full of motorcyclists coming or going to Andorra. You have to go with a sub or 4x4 car, the Camino de Alins to Tor is just over 12 km and in many cases, depending on the area, only one car passes. The restaurant is only open about 4/5 months from June to October. Opinion written in Spanish as required by Tripadvisor rules (CATALAN NOT ADMITTED). From here I claim that it is Catalan, a language recognized by Tripadvisor.

There were 3 of us and we went along the track from Andorra. It is eaten simply but very well. I'm surprised that there are people who say it's expensive. €25 expensive? With first, second, desserts and drinks? Plus they have to bring everything along a forest trail, crazy. The grill is very good, 3 types of sausage and lamb. The service is also very good. Seguiu així que ho feu molt bé.
