I visited Lime Tree today for some food from the deli counter. I chose some olives and bean salad along with some cheeses. As always, the quality was extremely high. You can tell the owners meticulously source everything they sell. I was served by 2 very friendly and professional ladies.

Cold and unwelcoming, I actually saw one of the staff in the back decide she had to serve me as I had seen her. I have a low tolerance of caffeine and that is heightened when I am pregnant so I asked if they did decaf, they did, so I asked for a decaf coffee. When I was presented with... More

I have always had a great service and eaten some delicious food (although a little pricey). I know what Lucy means below about dodging the mothers and babies of TD but they and all the fellow customers seem a good bunch. I do like their knowledge; the older gentleman and the customers involvement and advice when discussing ideas on making... More

I'm sure this place is great if you're one of the small coterie of people who visit regularly and are 'in' with the staff. If not it's best avoided, the service is very slow and cold if not outright rude and the prices are not good value - you can buy very good quality ingredients locally at a much better... More

Exceptionally good coffee and a wonderful selection of cakes daily. A lovely little gem in the village - just don't go there at a time when mums and babies are getting together if you plan to have a quiet meeting !!!

I went back to the Lime Tree this week and had a fresh coffee / juice and smashed avocado / smoked salmon. It was really busy as always but the girls brought me my coffee and juice whilst I waited for my food. It wasn't long until my order arrived. The quality of the smashed avocado & salmon was absolutely... More

I've been to The Lime Tree quite a few times to grab a tea and takeaway croissant. Each time I have had to queue / wait for nearly 20mins to be served. Once I was at the front of the queue and it took 10mins to make a cup of tea, as they were making up sandwiches and serving the... More

I popped into Lime Tree today for a coffee & juice. The service was very friendly. I enjoyed a fab chat with the owner & the lovely lady who works behind the scenes in the kitchen. The atmosphere in Lime Tree was relaxed and friendly. Our drinks were perfect. I visit Lime Tree frequently and appreciate their dedicated attention to... More

I would like to have left a positive comment about the food and beverages at the Lime Tree coffee shop. Sadly the lady I attempted to speak to regarding purchasing some lunch was barely able to cease her telephone conversation before telling me they had stopped serving in a less than welcoming tone. I contemplated purchasing a take away coffee... More
