The hotel restaurant serves a great buffet breakfast. There is a lot of choice, which makes it a fantastic way to start any day.

Bedroom was good size, bed comfortable. Staff were very helpful. Good location centrally located in Kirkenes. Would recommend for it's locality, also a shuttle bus to the airport can be arranged. Breakfast was good.
The hotel restaurant is quite good with a reasonable selection of local produce at reasonable prices ... the only problem was no gluten free deserts
Dinner two nights running Great range of fresh seafood available- local crab a focus. Good sized portions with a lovely warming atmosphere. Breakfasts were an absolute highlight- brilliant range and selection from the buffet - perhaps the best ever experienced
Staying at the hotel so thought I'd eat in-house which was a mustake. Ordered the crab soup and Caesar salad with shrimp as did not want a heavy meal. The soup was terrible, overly spiced and tomato base so that you could not taste any...seafood at all. At least they did not charge me for it after I could not eat it. The salad was ok but shrimp was a mistake on my part as it made the salad too soggy. Should have gone elsewhere.More
I had the Caesar salad with chicken as an entree...simply excellent with succulent chicken. Also the burger as a main was also a good and safe choice for the non-fish eaters among us..
We visited the restaurant while staying at the hotel. It took a goood while before the food was served, and it looked like the chef himself did the job waiting our table. The meal was really nice. A big bonus at breakfast: They had gluten...and dairy free brownies at the buffet, not very common but oh so welcome!More
I had the salmon with potatoes and a butter sauce. The sauce was nice but the salmon was bland. There were a few very small potatoes and a few vegetables (beetroot, pickled cucumber and something I couldn’t identify!). At around £26 it is average for...Norway but not a memorable meal.More
The food is very good and the ambience is nice, but the star of this restaurant was our waiter, Mikhail. The restaurant was not busy so he spent some time telling us about the history of Kirkenes. He was never judgemental, nor opinionated - just...how he saw things. We hope he gets far in life - he is a fine young man and exceptionally fluent in English.More
We enjoyed breakfast and dinner here and both were good but not exceptional. Dinner came first and while the booths were dated, the meals were well presented and generous. A mix of traditional Norwegian dishes (with specials to suit the Christmas season) and traditional favourites....The breakfast buffet was generous and extensive and easily met our needs. Prices were very reasonable and service was good. I suggest that you need to temper your expectations to the fact that you are almost as far north as you can get in Kirkenes so don’t go expecting big city flair.More
