We had a fish soup here today, and it tasted very well. Our waitress was nice and we got our soup after just a short time. Recommendable place with nice view to the harbour.

A huge and varied menu often means average to bad food, but the food was excellent -we had muscles and whale, it melted in the mouth. Felt very welcommed and smiling waiter. He could have sold more drinks if he had asked us when it was empty. Wish we had had room for dessert, looked and smelled amazing from the... More

There is nothing wrong with the food at this restaurant, except perhaps the price. It has the regular offerings of fish, pizza, hamburgers served in an okay setting. However, the prices are higher than those of most of the better, fine dining restaurants in the town.

The second floor at Du Verden offers sushi and crossover Japanese and South American dishes like I've never tasted before. The ingredients are still super local to Lofoten. Super service, great wine and magnificent seafood dishes. Highlight was the lime, coriander, red onion and chilli marinated halibut.

Nice restaurant on a beautiful location. The menu is varied and contain a lot of good dishes, but most of them on the pricy side. I was there with my wife and a friend, and we ordered 3 different pizza's: one with whalemeat, one with ham, and one with salmon creme fraiche. They were all very good in taste. Friendly... More

Dined there four or five times. Very comfortable (outside or in) and service if a little leisurely is good with the friendliest staff (and I found all Norwegians friendly).

Ok, the menu is all over the place. They serve sushi, pizza, burgers, fish and what not. But if you go with a family and need some variety, it is ok. Adequate sushi, nice pizza and burger and sandwiches. They have a wine list, and some wines by the glass, but could do with a bit more variety. Service was... More

I was there for lunch. You order at the bar and they bring the food to your table. For dinner they serve like in other restaurants. Make sure to make a reservation for dinner as it seems very popular at night and you might not get a table. Especially when a ship came in. Very nice food. Very friendly. Nice... More

We had to spend a couple of hours at Svolvær waiting for the ship. At first we ordered green tea. It smelled like fish (not joking...) and also tasted like fish. Later we ordered a warm chocolate with cream. It was not warm enough, the quantity of cream was too much (almost 10 cm height above the cup's top) and... More

We ate there both for lunch and dinner. The food was good, sushi, pizza and salat. The service was good and helpful, the location is good only it was a bit noisy.

Thank Mónica O
