We went to San Rocca di Camogli a fantastic trip by car from Recco, this small town has only this restaurant when We were there, made a reservation for lunch, it was a tiny pavillon with 4 small tables and behind a bigger terrasse looked like a big tenth. The staff Nonna but not Nina her own grandmother, was very... More

We come here every Summer and it is good to see how the menu evolves. New this time around, on their specials, freshly made excellent fried anchovies. Most dishes are made to order; it takes a little extra time, but it is worth the wait. Service is OK (some other reviews acknowledge this), but the quality of the food, the... More

We ate at this restaurant twice; once in a large group of 10 people and the second time as a couple. We found the food to be a mixed bag. Some things are delicious; we had a number of sharing plates when we ate as a group so we tried a lot of dishes. But the local specialty of fresh... More

I'm afraid but I have to give a bad review! The location is nice but we were very disappointed with the service, especially with the useless owner. Price to high in my opinion.Food is normal. No choices for vegetarian. Overrated and overpriced. Never again!

The first thing to say about this restaurant is not to walk up from Camogli unless you are fit! It is approximately 800 steps interspersed with 1 in 3 gradient paths - not for the feint-hearted! Having arrived in San Rocco you have wonderful views, although disappointingly not from the restaurant. The food is home cooking, but this is not... More

An interesting location , a relatively short taxi ride up from our hotel in Camogli . We were given a table outside on a terrace which has no view and was somewhat dilapidated ( was that really the style they were looking for ? ) . The seats were uncomfortable and unsteady . The food served was a real conundrum... More

if you are in camogli you have to come uphill to have dinner here. Very good, honest and fresh food for a very good price. It is not very big so it is better to make a reservation.

I have been several times to this small charismatic place. The food is a great combination of typical Ligurian food from both the coastline and the interior - focaccia, delicious rabbit, excellent trofie al pesto. The great surprise was a serving of perfectly prepared fried (and stuffed) anchovies. Very delicate, tasty, perfect balance of spices and fish. Superb. All this... More

Sadly the place is ruined by the miserable lady who runs this place, what a rude and nasty individual, never smiles and totally unhelpful, as mentioned in other reviews. However the food is nice, very local all home made, great pastas and excellent fresh fish. Limited menu all in Italian but helpful table staff to translate. Reasonable wine list and... More
