We celebrated our sons birthday at this restaurant in the seaside town of Camogi about 30 minutes from Rapallo..Vento Ariel was recommended by 2 local people and we're glad we went. Excellent seafood, pasta, and drink/wine selection. The owner Davide made us feel welcome and the service was top drawer. We had a great evening at Vento Ariel.

We decided to eat here on the strength of reviews and it's lovely location in the small fishing harbour. We had spent the day in Camogli visiting from nearby Santa Margherita Ligure by train. We were not disappointed. We arrived without reservation and the staff were very friendly and gave us a table outside in a good spot. We had... More

As this was the first time we'd visited this restaurant we chose the set, fixed-price (€35) menu. It couldn't have been a better choice, with the authentic taste of Italian food for each of the 4 courses (3 fish, plus desert), and with wine, water and coffee also included in the price. Lovely view across the harbour towards the sunset... More

Nice spot down by the harbour where you can watch the world go by. We enjoyed the catch of the day, well cooked and simply presented. Helpful staff, good food, perhaps you pay a small premium for the location but come on you're on holiday!

Our first restaurant during our stay in Camogli and 2nd best of the five we tried. Great seafood antipasti and pasta dishes. Service was either very laid back, or a bit offhand I couldn't quite decide which!

This seafood restaurant was so good, we ate here both evenings in Camogli. We shared the plentiful mixed seafood starter and then had mixed grilled fish and "shrimp" (very large prawns) "Diablo" - spicy enough, but not burning hot (more paprika rather than chilli hot). Service was attentive and wine recommendation was excellent.

My family and I weren't overexcited about the food we ate but I think that has a lot to do with the fact that we went to Camogli during Christmas when there was absolutely nobody else around. Since we were the only people eating there, I don't think the food was quite as fresh as it usually is. We went... More

I waited until i tried some others to compare and it has not only the best variety, but also cooked and tastes the best. Get in early as it does get full very quick. Also a great spot to watch the fisherman come in and unload the catch of the day. The staff are pleasant and the chef pops his... More

Nice restaurant right on the harbour quay. A wealth of pasta with seafood recipes, but little else. The mixed fish course also contained seafood. There were 2 non-seafood dishes out of a total of 30 non-desert offerings. Staff were initially not very helpful and the level of English spoken was very poor. Not our best night out!

We ate here for supper but it would be great for lunch too as all the tables are shaded. Moules marinara and their signature pâté di seppia for starters followed by delicious swordfish and tasty grilled squid. Staff were very friendly and attentive, and it has a lovely position overlooking the harbour. Ask for a table outside.
