Something for everyone

A great location and a beautiful setting- Village Cafe has a varied menu so everyone will be happy! After seeing how good the gyros looked, we planned to order that until the lady next to us ordered a large beautiful salad! We had the smoked salmon salad and the quinoa salad - both were excellent. The portions were perfect and the prices were very reasonable: we also ordered the detox smoothie - this was good but had a bit of a tang to it. All in all a great meal which we would definitely recommend. We did have to wait a few minutes for a table to open up but it was certainly worth the wait.

Best brunch in Lindos- MUST VISIT :)

This cafe really is something special! The owners are such a lovely couple. Not to mention it is the most aesthetic hot spot for foodies and coffee lovers. Literally the best omelette and avo toast we've ever had. The food is beautiful as well as filling and tasty! The greek Coffees were next level! We had the double hot ones when we ate in, the other days we picked up iced ones for our walk to the beach/help with the hangover! The owner even had a selection of plant milks to choose from so we had almond and coconut in our iced lattes. It was so hard to choose as all the food just looked SO yummy.

Truly excellent

Visited for a late breakfast. The restaurant is beautiful and ambient. The food was excellent as were the drinks. We had waffles, Greek Yogurt, salmon baguette and a toaster. It was fresh and delicious. The drinks were also perfect. They are clearly understaffed so are presently serving a reduced menu and are turning away guests rather than providing sub par food or service. Either way gorgeous place and exquisite food.

Delicious sandwiches and wraps

This little place was a great lunch place for us. It doesn't do anything particularly fancy, but the wraps and the sandwiches on offer were delicious, with fresh, healthy ingredients. The refreshing drinks were also perfect after a long day or walking in the hot sun. It might be hard to find, but worth it!

Called into "The Village Cafe" on our last morning for breakfast. Absolutely superb in every way. Warm welcome from staff, even though we were slightly early.(before 8 am). Spotlessly clean . Cafe is light, bright and airy. The food was delilcious - a full english breakfast and frest fruit granola with greek yogurt - beautifully presented. Can't praise the staff enough.

Drinks and pastry stop on a hot day. As is our way we like to look at the food and ask questions to help with ordering, unfortunately the lady in charge was adamant we should sit down and order from a menu, with a guy who spoke little English Had it not have been so hot then we would have left, but instead had an easy snack and left. Ice tea, latte, croissant and some kind of Vanilla custard slice at 15 Euro.

Thank you for taking your time to write a review. Unfortunately you completely misunderstood us. We didn't say at all that you are not allowed to see in our vitrine what we offer, most of our guests are doing this, but as many guests think that we offer just the things in the vitrine we always mention to them that we offer as well other things that they can find in our menu. Regarding the fact that we asked you if you would like something for take away or if you would like to dine or drink in, is, because we just take take away orders at the bar. For all the guests who would like to sit down, our waiter takes the order directly from the table from the guests and not from the bar. That was the reason why we asked you this question. But thank you anyway for your visit and enjoy your holiday.

A good place for brunch

One of the few restaurants in Rhodes I would suggest you to visit is this one located in Lindos. It’s a true hidden jem in the center of the city. We came here during the lunch time and it was almost full. Pleasant surroundings and big range of dishes left quiet an impression. We’ve decided to try out a greek salad and grilled halloumi on a scewers with a pita bread on a side and everything was simple yet good tasting. Pita and halloumi without a dought were the winners for us. I would advice you to visit this place if you are looking for a place to eat something light, to get your energy back and rest from frustrating heat.

Lovely cafe

My family of four just loved the food and atmosphere of this lovely cafe in Lindos. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The food is fresh with high quality ingredients used. It’s a small space so I would recommend going early or reserving a table.

A very pleasant lunch, close to the Acropolis steps

We saw the positive Trip reviews and decided this would suit us for lunch. The cafe had a pleasant, shady interior, is clearly family owned and offers attention to detail in the food and service. Food was fresh and full of flavour.

Not a local greek place.

They are trying new things. They have very nice place in Lindos. But we tried souvlaki they are doing it only with normal bread it is like a normal ordinary average cold sandwich. Not close to real souvlaki/gyross. So maybe they have good bowls i dont know did not try but if ypu are looking for something local it is definitely not a right address. I have to say Lindos is a total tourist trap area with a bunch of tourists coming with tour busses

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. We‘re not offering souvkaki, but probably you meant our gyros sandwich, which we offer with warm gyros, not cold as you wrote. We grill the gyros just the minute of the order in the air fryer. Yes, it‘s true that we offer different things that the common stuff that you can get everywhere on the island. That‘s why we offer the gyros in a sandwich instead of the pita and with truffle tzatziki instead of the normal tzatziki. Our guests which visit us like and appreciate the different menu we are offering. The guests which prefer the common known traditional greek food as you do, choose other restaurants/taverns than ours. Thanks anyway for your visit and enjoy your holiday.

In this lovely place they serve the best breakfast, lunch and snacks in whole of Rhodes. The food looks brilliant, smells awesome and tastes delicious. Lots of traditional & healthy meals available. Owners and Staff were so kind and nice to us. We enjoyed every stay at Village Café. Thank you guys!

Great lunch spot

Best place for lunch in Lindos, busy spot so you might have to wait for a table, but is worth it. Visited twice on our stay, Sunburst salad was easily best salad I’ve eaten, also tried Mediterranean baguette which was also lovely. Plenty of options on the menu for brunch/lunch with refreshing juices and cold beers. 10/10 from me.

Amazing

Myself and my partner decided on a trip to Lindos and were unsure on where to go. We decided to choose this cafe due to the amazing reviews and it did not disappoint. Due to Covid, the 2 owners are currently running the cafe themselves and they did a terrific job. The food was amazing and quick as was the welcoming service. I must recommended the homemade lemonade if you like something sharp and refreshing. The duo platter with pitta bread was superb and the humus was the best I’ve had! Just want to say a massive thank you to the cafe, as the food, atmosphere and friendliness made our trip extra special!

Refreshing Lunch.

Fabulous salads, I had the Ceaser salad and my wife had the Sun burst salad where they wrapped the chicken for tuna as she is a vegetarian. Both were high and delicious. Along with genuine homemade lemonade and an iced latte, lunch was fantastic. If on Lindos again, I would definitely make this a stop. 😀😀

Great breakfast in Lindos

This place was one of the highlights of our family holiday to Lindos. We had breakfast here 5 times, particularly enjoying the yogurt granola bowl, bougatsa and waffles. There is a good variety of healthy options on the menu. The freshly baked bread was great and available to take away. We would definitely visit again!
