We came here as we have been walking around the Roman Bridge and this looked to be a nice place to relax after some walk. We ordered a grilled hake with vegetable which was very good and also a gyorza with pork but the skin was too hard. The white wine to go with my fish was fantastic and overall... More

We enjoyed lunch here after visiting the amazing Alcazaba on a very hot day. The food was extremely good. The menu del dia was great - very nice salmorejo and a tasty pork loin. All the flavours and presentation were a slightly classier take on other restaurants. The restaurant was empty when we arrived but after 2pm a few locals... More

Like other reviewers, we found it very surprising that this place was empty. We would not have gone in had it been given anything other than excellent reviews. Our host, Philipe from Santiago Chile, was excellent and was able to give us his undivided attention as we were the only people dining on a Thursday night in mid June. Philipe... More

Our favourite restaurant in Merida. As soon as you walk in you feel that they are serious about what they are doing and set high standards. Excellent food beautifully presented and reasonably priced. When you are looking for something more than tapas this is the place to go.

We ate here on the first evening of our stay in Merida and we're glad we had consulted Trip Advisor's rating. Venue is tasteful and service was diligent and patient. Food was beautifully cooked. Substantial wine list all very reasonably priced. Overall we had an excellent meal and blue for money.

We ate here initially because it was convenient, but it was our good fortune. I had a wonderful salad that was unexpected in its variety and quality of ingredients. Our dinner of leg of lamb and pork loin were both delicious and we'll presented. The service was so friendly and helpful.

This is a tastefully decorated restaurant with great food but does not seem to have the support it should. If you are in Merida eat here. Reasonable and focused. Wines are reasonably priced. Portions are large. My hake was twice the portion I had in Bilbao. Deserves much greater patronage.

I have read other reviews commenting on the paucity of guests. Beside or group, only two tables were occupied. Is the crisis in Spain so deep? I head the gazpacho with " olive oil ice cream" in it was very good. A pig dish I ordered was also very good. For desert I had chocolate and strawberry ice cream. I've... More
