Just coming from El Maestro Sierra, so we needed some food to soak up the Sherry. Excellent food and very attentive service. Restaurant was recommended by owners of El Maestro and it was very enjoyable. Had a lovely local rose' and some very fine sherry to go with a variety of meats and veggies. French fries were also very good.

This restaurant themes it food around sherry - there is a well priced, delicious tasting menu. The service is good, with a mix of local and international diners! More expensive than some restaurants in Jerez, this is work the extra money and far less expensive than it would be at home!

The five course sherry pairing menu offers delightful food, a touch of theatre and fantastic value. This dining tutorial on day one in Jerez became the template for our visit, leaving aside all table wines in favour of the local nectars. Waiting staff were very gracious introducing the wines for us in English. The pairings were superb. The food was... More

Decided to go on recommendation for our last night dinner. Firstly take a taxi from town centre as not easy to find especially after dark ! On arrival we were confronted by "have you made a reservation " the restaurant is a large typically Spanish airy room which is perfectly fine but was less than a third full ! We... More

Large but still atmospheric place. Loved the cherry pairing with top class food. Special mention to our waiter with great service, taking time to introduce each cherry. We had the 40 euro tasting..great value for the quality. 60 euro also available with vintage cherry. A special visit.

My friend and I each had hake, which was brilliantly cooked and among the most flavorful fish dishes I've had in my life -- fully competitive with the very best cuisine I've had in France or Italy. I also had a glass of 30 year old sweet VORS sherry, which was reasonably priced and the best Sherry I've had in... More

Went here on recommendation of TripAdvisor so this is one occasion I have been let down. Large building without atmosphere it was half empty on a Thursday night . We felt we were very much the second class tourist and received a couldn't care less vibe from the staff all night . A smile goes a long way even when... More

The food is actually quite good, the surroundings are fine, a former sherry bodega converted into a modern restaurant. We chose a menu paired with sherry wines. It's amazing and surprising how well sherry goes with food. As mentioned the food is good and you get a great value at La Carboná but there is some way from Bib to... More

We went on a Monday night in October so not a busy evening and there were quite a few people in and a large group. The tasting menu which was excellent. The food was delicious and the sherry pairing delightful, all for €38 per person. The fish course with the pea puree was light and tasty, the beef course (... More

We had been recommended to go to this restaurant by our hotel and they kindly rang to make a booking for 8pm on a Saturday night. We were a bit worried that this might be to early for most of the Spanish and there would be no atmosphere but it was over half full and there was a gentle buzz... More
