We found this restaurant on a Friday night and had dinner there with wine, the waiter spoke no English but a couple on the table next to us helped out and the food was excellent, as was the house red wine, the atmosphere was buzzing and the waiters worked very hard to keep everyone served and looked after, a great... Excellent place and service. lf you are visiting Jerez, having tapas here is a must. Cola de toro, gazpacho, Morcilla de burgos and Solomillo among my favourites.

The Memsahib and I stumbled across this wonderful restaurant by chance. It was not featured in our, sadly, out of date guide but perhaps it is, and rightly so in newer editions. The food here is excellent, just judge by the queues when you arrive. The morcilla, both types is excellent. The Pigs hands are gelatinous and rich. The Bulls... More

If you find yourself staying at The Guadalete or The Sherry Park and don't fancy the walk into town then head for this tapas bar/restaurant. Don't be put off by it's location on the edge of a small shopping centre, that at night is shuttered closed. Push on - you will be rewarded. Interior is brightly it but sit at... More

We used to love us Asador and visited every time we were in Jerez. We won't be going back after this latest visit though as it was very disappointing indeed. We ordered three Tapas of which only one we ate. To be fair this is one we always have and was very good again – the pork cheek. The other... More

We stopped off here as part of a tour and this restaurant / tapas bar is such a great place with lots to choose from. The portions are sizeable and reasonable in price. We ordered patata bravas as well as the chicken kebabs and pork and the food was delicious. We sat outside but there is also the option of... More

La Meson del Asador is one of the best kept secrets in Jerez. We went for lunch and were pleased to sit in this quiet little street, surrounded by locals. The tapas were really great, and although we didn't try the mini barbecues that looked really great ! Prices are locals, i.e. very reasonable. A great variety of tapas and... More

The restaurant is located quite a walk from the centre but is about a 10-15 minute walk from the Hotel Jerez and Spa (where we were staying). Simple table and seating arrangements with benches for seats, but all adds to the grill type atmosphere. The food however was delicious. We had a starter of roasted peppers, black pudding (much better... More
