If you find yourself staying at The Guadalete or The Sherry Park and don't fancy the walk into town then head for this tapas bar/restaurant. Don't be put off by it's location on the edge of a small shopping centre, that at night is shuttered closed. Push on - you will be rewarded. Interior is brightly it but sit at... More

We used to love us Asador and visited every time we were in Jerez. We won't be going back after this latest visit though as it was very disappointing indeed. We ordered three Tapas of which only one we ate. To be fair this is one we always have and was very good again – the pork cheek. The other... More

We stopped off here as part of a tour and this restaurant / tapas bar is such a great place with lots to choose from. The portions are sizeable and reasonable in price. We ordered patata bravas as well as the chicken kebabs and pork and the food was delicious. We sat outside but there is also the option of... More

La Meson del Asador is one of the best kept secrets in Jerez. We went for lunch and were pleased to sit in this quiet little street, surrounded by locals. The tapas were really great, and although we didn't try the mini barbecues that looked really great ! Prices are locals, i.e. very reasonable. A great variety of tapas and... More

The restaurant is located quite a walk from the centre but is about a 10-15 minute walk from the Hotel Jerez and Spa (where we were staying). Simple table and seating arrangements with benches for seats, but all adds to the grill type atmosphere. The food however was delicious. We had a starter of roasted peppers, black pudding (much better... More

Happy to find the Meson del Asador open and fully operational after a visit to the nearby Villamarta theatre. The placed was packed with a convivial atmosphere. A heaven for carnivores with its large grill and range of meat dishes, enjoyed a very good pisto and a tapas of bacalao with tomato. The bread is also very good and is... More

We were nervous about finding a place to eat on Christmas Eve. We had read about this place on several food blogs & our host had recommended it as well. We showed up in the middle of lunch. Every table outside was full & the inside looked really busy too. I looked around & found an empty table & asked... More

The tastiest grilled (on our own table) tenderloin beef we've ever tasted. We've been back to the same restaurant twice so far. A must try!

Best steaks in town!!! If you are looking for a rustic steakhouse, look no further. You can also have some of the best tapas with biggest portions here as well. Either way, come hungry and early. This place is so popular on the weekends and holidays, it´s sometimes tough to get a table. You may have to wait a little... More
