We had a fun night for 5 people. we experienced delightful attentive service and creative food. Degustation had two menus to choose from. We had the smaller size traditional menu "timeless menu". Carrot soup, fake peas, marinated shrimp, pork brioche, risotto with pork (died:heaven), crawfish, hake, roast suckling goat. Biggest problem was I was too full eat all the goat... More

I cannot understand the recent review alleging bad food and "rip-off" wine pairing. We have dined in many Michelin star restaurants and this was on par with every one of them. Creative, delicious food and the absolutely best in service. Most of the service staff spoke English. We were one of the first tables there, and the chef came out... More

I went here with my partner on my last trip to Spain.. it was sooooo amazing! Such a gorgeous restaurant setting, beautiful ambiance and the food was really sensational. Service was attentive, without being intrusive. Seriously the best restaurant I've ever been to. Can't recommend enough!

Food was inventive, bright and had serious depth of flavor. And... the wine cellar was mind blowing. Worth every penny.

Visited on a weekend. As Michelin star experiences go this was as good as any in France, the U.K. Or North America. In fact better. A tour of the amazing cellar and kitchen were great sidebars to an exceptional meal consisting of the 12 course tasting menu which included delightful surprise takes on a variety of ingredients. The basic 6... More

Maybe we went on a 'bad night', as there are so many good reviews here. We had the 'timeless menu' and so-called matching wines (100 euros each extra for 5 wines - horrible value - we priced most the next day, and our quantities cost them less than 20 Euros total). I say 'so-called matching' because there were 3 courses... More

We have been to many of the finest restaurants in Europe and America and Atrio is as good as any of them. Having had such a superb meal (and overall experience from the warm welcome to the effusive, but genuine, goodbye, I don't know what Atrio has to do earn a third star. The meal was an orchestrated procession of... More

We went there last weekend. We selected the menu de gustation. The food was amazing, as you would expect from a 2 star Michelin restaurant. I have been to El Bulli and El Celler de Can Roca and this place is up there with the best. However, what stood out was the amazing service. It was faultless. So well co... More

Came to Caceres (4 hour train ride from Madrid) - stayed a night and had dinner at Atrio. This 2 Michelin star restaurant does not disappoint. You have a choice of 2 set menus (one at €139 and another at €149). There is a lot of food as it's 7 course with a lot of free in between thrown in.... More

At this moment we have visite Atrio two times. The first time we stayed for a few days in Cáceres and the second time we came from Seville. Atrio is really great. Everything is on the dot, from the entrance, the service, the dishes and the wine. We love this restaurant and actually it is one of my favorites in... More
