I stopped in here for lunch without reservation or research, and was pleased with my menu de la casa. I had migas (fried egg with breadcrumbs and bits of vegetables), bacalao, and custard. Not a spectacular experience, but everything hit the spot and had a pleasant taste. Excellent value.

We stopped off for a drink and an ice cream after a visit to the magical town of Caceres. This restaurant was central, looking onto the main square. The ice cream came in tubs, but they also gave us a free sandwich and a brioche to eat with the beer.

This is a lovely little town with the main street lined with trees, plenty of shops and bars. Unfortunately it rained when we were there so we didn't see any of the other buildings except in the old town which is set apart from the main town. The square in the old town is wonderful with plenty of bars and... More

Great place for a late night drink. The barista is very good and remembers you and what you had ordered the next night after only being there once before.

The old town in Caceres is a world heritage centre and it's easy to see why. It is perfectly preserved and you could spend a whole day there. There are lots of exhibitions and museums that are free And others that are really inexpensive. We will go there again.

Fantastic Town great countryside one of the best unesco sites in Spain. It's in Iberico bellota country. It is off the main route, few tourists see this delight. You could change that and you won't regret it.

First time we came here we just stopped for a drink and with it the brought us some fried fish with green peppers. We enjoyed the so much that we came back that evening for tapas. We had 4 Tapas and a bottle of wine for 24 euros. The next day we came back again and had some different tapas.... More

The old centre of Cáceres is definitely worth a visit, otherwise we did not find this a very attractive town, maybe because of the rainy weather, maybe because we are spoiled with all those beautiful towns in Spain.

From sea level the old town is not visible so follow the sighs up to the old town and enjoy the beautifully preserved Medieval buildings, which are flood lit at night. Walking around takes about half a day, best done in the morning or late afternoon in Summer. Free Museum is also worth a visit.
