The food in this place is excellent...interesting recipes with an Arabic/Asian influence, gourmet presentation and not too badly priced. But a real pity that after all that we came away with a bad overall experience. I don't normally put too much weight on customer service, but in this case the staff couldn't have done a better job in alienating us.... More

We had quite a fun experience, we thought the place had a cool and hip atmosphere and offered a great opportunity to have a different meal experience as we could try a fusion of a variety of places. Not all of them were right to our taste but the food and presentation were well executed

Very popular and excellent taperia in the heart of the old city. Imaginative and delicious tapas/raciones. Good portions. 3-4 dishes for 2 was sufficient. Good local wines too. Expect a queue at lunchtimes. Highly recommended.

We popped in for a drink while exploring the old town and having already read great things decided to return for lunch the following day. We made sure we got there just before the kitchen opened as they do not take bookings. We had a glass of wine from the excellent choice of wines by the glass before ordering our... More

We had read all the reviews regarding the queues. We'd better go early! Got there sat 8.10pm for 8.30 opening. No one around! Ok, so it was the opening night of Womad in Caceres, maybe we'd left everyone partying in the square to ensure our table. Come 8.30 the queue is 2 couples deep. We had been joined by a... More

I agree with other reviews, this was our best restaurant during our trip in Estremadura. The room looks a bit crowded, small little table, but very pleasant. The salted cod (bacalao) cooked as a sort of omelette had an excellent texture and flavour, the spicy goat cheese, from their cheese selection was also excellent. we had some small little potatoes... We searched this place out because of the excellent reviews and it didn't disappoint. A delightful selection of tapas, most of which were specials of the evening. The wine was good and the service was friendly and helpful. The price was very reasonable. Mindful of the comments about it being busy, we went into its adjoining cocktail bar a little... More

Well worth a visit. But you have to be quick. They don't take reservations. Opening at 8:30, we strolled past at 8:20pm and there was already a queue. This with mainly locals who would generally not consider eating before 9pm on a Saturday. Worth the wait and great that we did as it was totally full 10 mins later. Enjoy... More

If you want to be assured of a table get there for it opening. It is extremely well thought of, by locals and Spanish tourists. Excellent hostess. Good cooking in an imaginative style. There is an English Menu available. Glad we went. An experience we would not have missed. The Sweet Tapas Tiramisu was delightful.

Had an excellent (generous and inventive tapas) lunch here today. The menu is a minimalistic interpretation of local cuisine and a few international classics, but who cares when it's this good and everything seems so fresh. (Falafel made from scratch anyone? ) There's a real chef in this tiny kitchen. The price was unbeatable. There's great attention paid to many... More
