We came upon this restaurant purely by chance, so it wasn't till afterwards that I looked back to see what others had said about it. I have to say, the experience of the four of us was generally very positive and the setting, overlooking the harbour, was great. The staff even let us rearrange the tables to create a table... More

Calls itself a pizzeria. Isn't at lunchtime. Not made clear when we asked to see the menu. Disappointing.

There were 4 of us and we couldn't decide what to eat so the proprietor asked if she could choose for us. She brought us and we sampled small plates of almost everything offered! We also shared a sea bass that was encrusted with salt before being cooked. Magnificent! An outstanding and memorable meal. Much better than expected!

Had our seafood lunch there. The food was overall good. We enjoyed the sautéed clams and the grilled fish. The service is above average. We we're not disappointed.

Very fresh seafood sourced from the fish market just next door. The Romanian waitress gave us great advice on what was just in today and helped us select a superb meal including a good bottle of local white wine. Mussels, octopus and fish were lovely and came with local potato and pasta. Price was excellent for the quality and amount... More

If English visitors to Puglia speak Italian then please send over the Italian waiter not the Romanian waitress who speaks broken English. We spoke to her in Italian all through the meal but got replies only in English. Food was good ( if you like octopus) , wine was good and it's in a great location but service was irritating.... Fresh food, lovely views. We ordered the mixed seafood platter and fresh grilled octopus. Simple and good. Presented well and served quickly. Can recommend.

This restaurant saved the day for us when we needed a midday lunch to catch an afternoon plane from Bari. The restaurant opened half an hour early on 2 minutes notice when all other restaurants in town said they didn't open til 12.30. The setting was lovely and the food delicious - slightly different menu from the usual seaside restaurants... More

This is a lovely, simple seafood restaurant on the seafront in Savalettri. The setting is lovely and we sat outside for lunch of seafood pasta, spaghetti vongole and some simple grilled fresh fish caught that day washed down with a very cold local white wine. Service is good and the bill very reasonable. Difficult to fault it.

There is nothing fancy about this simply run and unassuming village restaurant set right on the sea. The really encouraging sign is the location of the main fishmonger bang next door. We had simply grilled seabass and salad, washed down with local wine. A simple pasta dish was also to the point. Helpful staff. One downside: the vegetables were not... More
