The entrance doesn't look very nice (the restaurant is in the cellar). But inside it's very traditional, nice and clean. You can eat evrything: pasta, fish, meat, pizza. The pizza here is very good and really Italian pizza with a very thin crost. Extensive and varied wine selection. It's a pity that the antipasto (a very extensive dish) can no... More

I've been to this family owned restaurant many times over the years and it continues to be a great place to go for well-prepared, traditional Puglian cuisine. Set in an underground cellar with high vaulted ceilings, the cozy dining room is comfortable and the service is friendly, professional and helpful. Prices are more than reasonable considering the quality of the... More

Well established family based . Good range of food on menu though seafood dominates. Excellent quality though you pay for it

The restaurant is not easy to find and is in the cellar. It is very dated in its décor. Food was average and service was about the same. We were the only customers!!!

Entrance is a bit dated --stairway down into a cellar--old world style. We find that the italians don't much like it if you skip the antipasti and primi and go straight for a secondi. My friends all choose a primi for their main course and I decided to go for a secondi of sizzling meat. Bad decision because I had to... More

This restaurant was recommended by our host at B & B Amati and while the food was excellent, it was the service and staff that was even better. We actually returned a second time and the experience was even better. The same family also has a restaurant in nearby Saveletri which is on the Sea. Unfortunately, we did not get... More

We found this restaurant by chance, but liked it so much that we returned the next night too! The interior is lovely, welcoming and friendly and so are all the staff. It started to get busier about 9pm, so there was a good atmosphere. We had pasta with mushrooms, pizzas and steak. Everything was wonderful although the antipasto was so... More

The "refuge of gluttons" which sounds like something out of Dante's inferno is an established trattoria pizzeria and this is my third visit in many years. The location is OK just off one of the secondary piazzas in Fasano. The restaurant is actually in a basement - so no open air dining experience - but the atmosphere is cosy -... More

typical puglia restaurant but definitelly more than that!!! It's not modern, it's classic, it's not high class but it's elegant, the food I cannot have enough words to express how good it was. the service is really professional, and everything is fresh and homemade. it's perfect for business but also for a cosy meal in couple, the division allows it. stefano... A really good, honest and enjoyable restaurant. The degustazione of antipasti was excellent and interesting. Four of our party had beef, which they presented as a generous tagliata on a hot metal plate in the centre of the table - quite a spectacle and absolutely delicious. Strongly recommended.
