I was on a business trip in the area, and I followed the suggestion of TripAdvisor for a French restaurant : I was not disappointed. The menu offered very good French cuisine (I opted for a very appetizing fous gras with figues) and sauted sea...food. The bill was not on the low side, but I knew that quality has a price.More

Traveling on the adjacent canal my wife and I stopped here for dinner. The restaurant is quite attractive, the service was great and the food excellent. My wife rated the foie gras as one of the best she has ever had. We both had the...magret de canard which was also excellent and inventive. Prices are pretty reasonable for what you get (particularly as compared to NY or Paris prices). We had a nice conversation with the owner/chef who wanted to practice his English.More

We arrived pretty late at this restaurant, but it was no problem to eat. It is a small restaurant, but the interior was nice. Everyone was very friendly and the food was really good.

Idyllically situated at the foot of a watergate, this restaurant offers very sophisticated french cuisine and a selective wine list. The menu of the day is surprisingly cheap (14 euros in 2014), well prepared and pleasantly dressed, and the innkeepers are friendly and courteous. And...on the terrace you are just a few steps from diverse yachts crossing the watergate. I would not be surprised if this restaurant can adorn itself with a Michelin star sooner or later.More

We had lunch at L'ecluse in august. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and has a very cosy feel to it. We were served by the owner who was especially nice and attentive. The food was simple but very good. Overall great experience.
