Lovely chicken, but frites not so good. Meals did not all arrive at the same time. Older child was given a free ice cream though he had an adult meal. That was a nice touch.

Its difficult being a vegetarian in France! However, I decided upon an omelette, and was complimented on my french as I ordered Omelette avec champignons et fromage. The O level french surprisingly came back to me after all these years! It was lovely! My daughters pizza was good and my partner enjoyed burger. Staff were friendly, would recommend as long... More

Have eaten at this restaurant for 14 years and generally it is pretty reliable service and food. However, I sent back an appalling steak and was set upon by two 'managers' who told me my food was my choice and was perfect. I told them it was rubber and they might like to eat it. They declined and said they... More

Four of us, with varied food likes and dislikes, ate here one evening, all managing to find something on the varied menu to suit our tastes. The food was delicious and our waiter was very good - none of us speak much French and he was very helpful and patient with us. We sat outside and had a lovely evening.

My wife and I really enjoyed our breakfast experience here. The coffee and tea was exceptionally delicious! The egg omelet was cooked to perfection. If you're new to the area I would give this place a try.

Called in at the end of a long weekend in Reims and after a brisk walk along the promenade to blow away champagne after-effects. Jean's Café is on a corner site in the middle of what you might call the High Street, about 200m from the sea front and was one of a handful of bars we saw which had... More

Excellent food and service for a main street restaurant. Ideal off season. Extremely busy in season.

Unfortunately they had run out of steak when we visited so I opted for a burger. This was a bad choice. It cost around £20, looked like a large Big Mac but tasteless and the bun was burnt. I asked for a new bun which did not come for 5 or 10 mins so I said I didn't want it.... More

This bustling café in the centre of Le Touquet is part New York diner, and part Parisian bistro. With a brasserie-style ambience and stateside memorabilia on the walls, Le Jean's Café is a fun place to visit whether you're looking for a nice place for lunch, a mid-afternoon glass of wine, or a relaxed place for dinner with something on the menu for everyone. The menu features American -style pizzas and pasta alongside traditional French fare, and you can chow down on anything from garlic snails to sticky barbecued spare ribs. We love the steak served with Bearnaise sauce, provençal herbs and fries, and Jean's signature pizza made with ham, mushrooms, mixed herbs, Gorgonzola and mozzarella cheese.
