This bustling café in the centre of Le Touquet is part New York diner, and part Parisian bistro. With a brasserie-style ambience and stateside memorabilia on the walls, Le Jean's Café is a fun place to visit whether you're looking for a nice place for lunch, a mid-afternoon glass of wine, or a relaxed place for dinner with something on the menu for everyone. The menu features American -style pizzas and pasta alongside traditional French fare, and you can chow down on anything from garlic snails to sticky barbecued spare ribs. We love the steak served with Bearnaise sauce, provençal herbs and fries, and Jean's signature pizza made with ham, mushrooms, mixed herbs, Gorgonzola and mozzarella cheese…

Lovely staff, very helpful, although we speak French they were fluent in english. You could mistake it for an American diner and dismiss it, but it offers a great variety.
Slightly expensive, especially for drinks, but worth it for the service and experience.
We managed to get a table outside for 8 on Bastille Saturday evening. Busy place but we had attentive and friendly service. The moules were fine as was my pork special main course. they have some excellent wines which we sampled a bit too excessively....More
