Came here with a party of eight on our last day in France, and wound up having the best meal any of us had had in the 11 days we'd been in the country. Great main courses, and the desserts in particular were pretty amazing; the chocolate mousse was rich, just bitter enough, and had a great texture, and the... More

I read about this restaurant in Condé Naste Traveler and so when my husband and I decided to take our youngest for a day in Chantilly, we thought we would try it out! We had a lovely welcome and both the room and the menu looked fantastic! We had cocktails to start. The service was friendly and the waitress, while... More

We went for dinner on our first night in Chantilly. Seems like a family owned restaurant and everyone was very helpful. The waitress suggested the shrimp - which were HUGE and I had the Sole, which was very well prepared (light and lemony), I really enjoyed this restaurant. Definitely nothing fancy, but good food, comfortable, casual atmosphere. Definitely, no pretense... More

This restaurant is an absolute gem in chantilly. Very traditional French food like foi gras, beef entrecôte, escargots etc but since we had a big lunch, we went easy on the ordering. The salad, asparagus with hollandaise, foi gras etc were just top class. Thank you LUIS for making our ordering perfect (since you were the only English speaking person).... More

The menu here is extensive, although other reviewers report differently. There's something for everyone, a broad range of choices from fish, to beef, saucisson, chickent and salads. Caution: everything comes in generous portions, so one doesn't need to order a starter and main plate unless young and/or exceptionally hungry. It isn't exactly cheap (nor is it expensive as other reviewers... More

This restaurant has a bustling convivial atmosphere with very good cuisine of the region. Very friendly and attentive host and wait staff. The seating is very tight, as they strive to accommodate as many diners as possible. I was here in February; I imagine it's only more packed in the busier warmer seasons.

Perfect - the only thing missing was the checked table cloth. We both had terrine maison followed by onglet steak (must be served rare) washed down with an excellent cote due Rhone. Service good. & friendly.

Okay - we just finished dinner at this restaurant tonight - having been referred to it from our 5 star hotel in Chantilly. It was terrible - disgusting really. First let's start with the gnats and flies that were flying around our food, wine, table, and us. You needed a bottle of OFF! bug spray. The staff could care less... More

Typical French bistro setting with a limited menu read off the chalk board. The choices were what you would expect...steak fillet, sole, beef tartar, etc. Everything was very well prepared and delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. I had the escargot and beef tartar although I was with a large group and had jsut about everything on the menu and... More

Description
This is a typical French country inn-type of restaurant; beautiful bar, local patrons, just the perfect memory of our trip to France. Menu on the chalkboard brought to the table..traditional French and delicious. Some English spoken, but very little.
