2 of us arrived in Falaise on a wet and miserable Monday evening in November. Just wanted something cheap and cheerful really and found this rather unassuming place on the Main Street. It was quiet when we arrived, but it was early. We sat at...a table for 4 as the place was virtually empty but were then shown to a rather cramped table for 2. The place didn’t fill up, so we could have enjoyed the larger table after all. Ordered 2 pizzas, which when they arrived were very good! Service was friendly and efficient after the rather shaky start as described. Good value for money.More

We were on a coach trip and stopped in Falaise for Lunch. There was a limited choice of restaurants. This Brasserie is in a corner position on the main road. I couldn't see any parking other than in the square opposite (limited) Not a terribly...posh place but clean and the server was pleasant. The food was lovely, my husband had spaghetti and I had a pizza. I have to say it was the nicest pizza I have ever had. The base was melt in the mouth and the toppings were lovely. My husband enjoyed his pasta, lots of meat and sauce.. The cost was reasonable.More

Very helpful to have a nice pizzeria open after a tiring day seeing the historical sites in Falaise. Reasonable prices - 4 of us ate well and had plenty to drink for €70 - not bad, and the cuisine was good quality, the staff friendly,...and they coped with our Franglaise very well.More

Had a very pleasant meal on a Friday evening. Arrived without reservations and were immediately seated by the friendly staff. Food arrived at a nice pace and everyone enjoyed their dishes. Nine year old and teenager were both happy so the menu has enough range...for a family.More

....and every other day of the week. But one of only a small number of restaurants in falaise open on a Sunday evening - which is why we ended up there whilst staying overnight in falaise on our tour of Normandy. However we were blown...away by how fantastic the restaurant was. The service was excellent - including carafes of water brought to our table without us requesting them (something that every other restaurant in France that we have visited so far has not done) - also very attentive service. We ordered the assiette normande to share between my husband and I and our 2 children as a starter and then a pizza each for main course. Whilst there is not a vast choice on the menu, it is plenty and includes some more unusual choices and great that you can order pizzas in large or small sizes. The assiette normande was delicious - the melted cheese especially good and we were even brought extra bread at no extra cost. The pizzas were delicious- all with a crispy thin base. The toilet was nice - always a bonus in French restaurants! If we ever came back to falaise, we would definitely visit again. Thank you for some lovely food and great service La Place.More

Very popular restaurant in the heart of town on the main road, staff are very good and attentive. Good food and wine menu, as you would expect from the name it is Italian with extensive pizza and pasta options I had a Calzone (the smaller...size one), washed down with a couple of draft beers, whilst my wife had a ham omelette washed down with 50cl of Rose wine, meals came with bread and frites and cost less that 30 euros in total. Worth trying if you are in the area.More

On a quiet Wednesday evening there appears to be nothing open in Falaise la Place was our last hope and we were not disappointed. Great pizza I think the owners were just a bit overwhelmed by the number of customers. Highly recommended
