Amazing cafe located in the Fortress of Lappeenranta and and must visit for our family whenever we come over. It is one of those places with a spirit that will make you come back over and over again. Those places in which time appears to stand still... The concept has been the same for years: mouthwatering pies and cakes accompanied... More

I have been visiting this place for years and it is one of my all-time favorites in the whole Finland. It has a historic feeling inside and everything... More

Stopped here for a quick cuppa as it started to rain. Had a gluten free apple and almond tart which was very crumbly. The tea was Lady Grey which was very nice. The decor is very olde worldly but gives it that something. Fairly expensive but worth a visit.

You need to try cheesecake as well as Marskinmalja. The athmosphere is the thing there. Old building with old furnirure and decoration. Visit and see.

This cafe has served the turists and locals for just about 30 years. In Finland thats a long age for any restaurant and when you enter the few steps inside you can understand why the popularity still goes on. Cakes are delicious and coffee fresh and the old furniture gives a nice comfty add. Well worth a visit even if... More
