We went there with my husband for our wedding anniversary. It was our first time there, but surely not the last! Amazing Italian pizza. It felt like being back in Roma :)

This place is almost always booked as it's such a great little Italian pearl in Stensballe. We called (same day) and booked and they said they would have a table free 20.15, but said we could try and come around 20. When we arrived they...apologized that the table was dragging out as the ladies there was having a great time. We didn't mind at all. We had come a little early anyway. They offered us a free aperetif while we waited. We were seated shortly after and the meal was fantastic! I had the mussels and a seafood pasta. Both very delicious! The waiter was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend!More

We came to D'Angelos 2 times during our week vacationing in theses. Really good pizza and very nice staff. They were also extremely nice to our puppy 🐶

From the outside it does not look like much. On the inside though, it's a really great setting and the food (at least the pizzas, didn't try the pasta yet) were really great. We live in the opposite side of the city but will happily...drive here again to eat.More

It is always a pleasure to visit Da Angelino - as a couple, with friends or family. Don't get fooled by the exterieur, inside it has an authentic charme and warm hospitality. The food is obviously made by an Italian - simple with good ingredienses...and cooked just right. Rarely to find a pizza as well prepared as this outside Italy (the Tiramisu scores within my top three ever as well)!More

On the outside the restaurant looks a little boring, but inside it is really nice, with an authentic italian feel. The menu is really diverse, and the quality of my dishes was really excellent. A nice place for a bit of Italy in Horsens.

Grethe and Angelo has established a wonderful, cozy Italian restaurant -serving authentic, Italian food. There is a very nice atmosphere that supplements the wonderful food into a complete and satisfying experience. All tables were booked this evening, people enjoying the food and each other. We found this restaurant after driving around downtown Horsens, then checking TripAdvisor for recommendations. It was packed when we arrived and we were very pleased with the level of service and willingness to make a vegetarian option for me. We each had a mixed salad...to start, then my husband had lasagna and the chef agreed to prepare a pasta primavera dish with tomato sauce for me as I am vegetarian and cannot digest cream sauces. Everything was delicious and the service was perfectly attentive without being overbearing. House red wine and bread basket were wonderful complements to the dinner. Would highly recommend for a family dinner, date night dinner, or dinner for tired travelers.More

A pleasant restaurant providing good quality pasta and pizza in comfortable surroundings at an out of the way location. The food is very enjoyable, reasonably priced and the service efficient and friendly. Good quality ingredients are used and the dishes are well presented. This is...complemented with an ok wine and beer list at affordable prices. The restaurant seems popular with families and provides a good "local" facility. The restaurant is immediately adjacent to a supermarket and fronts onto a cark park / petrol station so no great views particularly from the outdoor seats. It is about a 15 minute bus ride from the centre of Horsens. The selection of starters is fine but for main dishes one can only choose between pasta or pizza albeit very good dishes. I would happily revisit and it is certainly work making the effort to go there but knowing that the choice is limited. Excellent Italian ice cream available for desert or to take away. Some ham & salami also available for purchase.More

I like the close distance from our home, and the totally relaxed atmosphere. prices OK, and some good and reasonable priced italian wines. The sell italian ice out of the shop, together with pickled olives.

This a newbie in our local area, which suddenly popped up. The proprietor though is not new in the business, and decided to start over again after selling off his other restaurants. The place is next to a supermarket and a gas station, but as...we're used to travel in Italy, where a small family restaurant can be squeezed in anywhere, this is not something deterring us. As we do not have a small local place to go for a good pazza or pasta dish, we thought it was a worth a try - and we were indeed not disappointed. Da Angelino opened about a week before we visited the place, and even a Sunday evening it was hard to get a table. The menu is mostly pizzas, but some antipasti and pasta dishes is on it as well - and of cause a few desserts. By staying with a few dishes you can concentrate on being the best in the league, instead of spreading too much and never really being good. I must say that Da Angelino has taken off like a rocket - if they keep up the good work, they will have a flowering business here for years to come - we will be back anyway. The pizzas was really good - among the best I have had and te pasta dish one in our company had was praised. The adults had an excellent Sicilian red which was quite affordable - and fresh cold water was always on the table. The wines are mostly own import - together with some really nice Italian specialties like amare, grappa and the like. They were not all there yet - so I guess we have to get back to try them out. The service was attentive and knowing, which is something you can long for in many other places. My best recommendations for Da Angelino - it's definitely worth a visit.More
