This was a very good breakfast spot. I had one of the skillet breakfasts with a pancake on the side. Both were very good! We ordered a biscuits and gravy to share and it was excellent. Their biscuits are awesome. Great place for breakfast in...a very rural, scenic part of Nashville.More

Let me start with the positive..... the wait staff was very friendly..... that goes a long way with me. And my pancakes were very tasty ....another Plus. This is why I will give BBB at Country boy another chance. HOWEVER.... The bacon they served was...burned badly..... it should have never left the kitchen like that and the waitress should have never served it. We didn't send back because we were in a rush. But we should have..... ALSO.....the tables were sticky ....... they need to wipe down the tables so much better. Like I said..... I will this place another chance......More

They had all the window shades down even though it was 10:30 in the morning. We felt like we were eating in a dark garage or trailer. It was such a beautiful sunny day too. We used to love eating there, but we were totally...turned off with all the sunlight blocked out. The blueberry pancakes are really good, but with the dark and dinghy atmosphere it’s not worth it. Never seen so many open tables on a Friday morning. So disappointing. New management has killed a great thing.More

After reading all the good reviews I was ready to have the breakfast of my dreams. We'll I guess my dream didn't come true but the food was fine. If staying in Leipers Fork you don't have a lot of options for dining and the...place does get very busy so go early. I ordered the pancakes with sausage and wife had the French toast. The pancakes (three large) were fine, nothing really special. The sausage just didn't suit me taste. Should have gone with the French toast as it was much better. Service was good.More

The food was mediocre at best. I am a local who used to eat at The Country Boy on a weekly basis with my family. Since BBB took over there have been changes put into place that we haven’t liked. First, the menu was changed...and some our favorite foods were eliminated. They should keep in mind that not everyone wants either breakfast or a burger for lunch. I called on Monday to make sure they still had daily specials like fried chicken for today and was told that they did. When I tried to order today I was told the menu is changing again and fried chicken was not available. My son and I have decided that was our last visit to what used to be a family favorite! I’m sure the tourists will like it since they have no frame of reference.More

Friendly staff and good food. Very busy on weekends but if you can go during the week you can usually get seated immediately or just very short wait.

“Take me home, country roads” destination with a laid back attitude was our experience. We were very happy with the service and lunch at The Country Boy Restaurant. Encountered many locals chatting about politics and their neighbors but it was interesting not annoying. Strolled the...Main Street and found Leiper’s Fork has a sophisticated side with a lively gallery scene and trendy boutiques.More

We had out of town friends over in Middle Tennessee....they suggested breakfast for a get together to talk about old times/new times. We met at 9 am and order from a robust menu...country menu country price.....my breakfast was so good....bacon, sausage, toast, scrambled eggs, grits,...gravy, pancakes and chase it down with OJ Juice...the best meal I’ve had in a very long time...Puckets Grocery is great also across the street, but this was a great hidden gem. Definitely Worth It! 😊More

We were passing through this country tourist mecca at lunchtime and opted to stop by this busy diner style restaurant in Leipers Fork. We were immediately seated and enthusiastically greeted by our server. Fried chicken, the special of the day, and our choice, was soon...brought out with sides of fried okra, white beans, biscuits or cornbread, and slaw. The chicken was tender, crispy, and generous.(2 pieces) White beans were especially flavorful with ham bits and pepper visible. We did not leave hungry! Other diners’ plates of salads, sandwiches, etc. looked equally delicious. We passed on dessert, but banana cream pie looked amazing. The waitress was what one has grown to expect from the Nashville area, friendly, polite, helpful, and willling to go the extra mile to insure that our meal was a positive experience. We will be back!More

Very quaint, small diner that serves fresh country breakfast. Fresh country sausage, eggs, biscuits with gravy. Very good coffee. Highly recommend this breakfast location and then explore the surrounding community

We ate at The Country Boy three times, twice for dinner and once for breakfast. It's a small diner that's unpretentious and downhome, but is very good at being that. Everything we had was very good and the portions good sized. The Catfish was excellent....Service, for the most part was fast and friendly, although one of the servers was apparently near the end of her morning shift and wasn't all that attentive. She took or our order and deliver the food, but no attempt to refill tea, coffee or water.More

The menu offered a variety but is not extensive. Food was good and serving size normal. Topped lunch off with a piece of pecan pie, delicious! It's on our list to try again.

A glimpse into the past in a charming restaurant. We were there for lunch, so I can't comment on breakfast, which many reviewers liked very much. Breakfast is not served after 11AM, but the menu looked very inviting and quite substantial. And keep in mind,...lunch is not served after 2PM, and they mean it. It is a small town, although popular with tourists, so it is reasonable that the hours be limited. We had melted ham and cheese, with side orders of chips (very good, apparently home made) and fried onion rings (very good and very hot). However, everything was overdosed in salt (which is not uncommon in cuisine around here), which might also be a function of the ham. So make sure you've taken your blood pressure medication. The prices are quite good, but I was confused by the charge for the extra side, which was the fried onion rings. Leiper's Fork is a charming town, with anitque shops and the Barney Fife and Dukes of Hazard cars greeting you as you drive in.More
