I wish we had discovered this location earlier. The Inn is on a quiet street and much calmer than the busier Spring House nearby. The views are incredible and we had a wonderful time sitting on the lawn with a couple of drinks watching the sunset. After the sun went down we went inside for dinner and loved the decorations... 26 years ago my wife and I were engaged on Block Island. Dinner at the Atlantic Inn was part of our day then, and we had dinner there again recently. The staff was friendly, the meal was terrific, and the desert was out of this world (I had the brûlée). Among the different options for places to eat on the... More

It would be excusable when dining at this historic grand hotel perched high on the hill overlooking with great views day and night above the New Shoreham Village if the food was just passable. That is how it often is at scenic, tourist destinations. But this is a serious restaurant which would fit well in Manhattan or any other great... More

We stumbled to to the lawn after dropping off our rental bikes and we were not disappointed. The view was beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxed, and we were away of the town's hustle and bustle. The service was a little slow, but we didn't care, we needed to rest after a full day of biking. My two children and I... More

Second time coming here for a drink/appetizer before going somewhere else for dinner. We started with sitting on the lawn in lawn chairs and a small table. We are on a bad incline. Ordered some oysters and wine. Had to hold the wine to prevent it from tipping over. The oysters were plopped on our table without any forks or... More

A wonderful place to sit for pre-dinner cocktails. Sit on the veranda overlooking the town and the bay. Do NOT order the Heirloom Tomato Carpaccio - it was a big disappointment. However, the Artisan Cheese Plate was lovely.

We have eaten a few dozen times, great wait staff and good food. Good drinks and the porch is the best part! We love going here. I especially love having breakfast on the porch.
