A pleasant restaurant with a very hardworking staff. The menu was fairly generic, but the food was good. I had the steak sandwich and I left full. There was a nice breeze which made it a great spot to eat. This is the height of tourist season and everyone was working very hard, which made it a better experience. It's... More

The food was excellent. I had scallops and Brussels sprouts with cous cous. It was very good. My husband had the fish and chips. Very large portions. Sitting outside was nice and the view of the ocean was great.

The overall quality of the food at this touristy restaurant is fair, at the best. However we were really taken back by the taste and presentation of the little neck clams and the oysters. First, it is clear this restaurant did not have an individual on staff who understood how to shucks clams as they were served still largely attached... More

Had lunch here on our first day of vacation because of the beautiful view of the ocean and Crescent Beach! Lunch was good. But this place is great for drinks and appetizers. My husband and I love stuffed quahogs also known as stuffies. These large clams are native to the New England coast and The Beachhead has the most delicious... More

One of a few places serving oysters, the restaurant is not shy with 2 kinds of lobster rolls, one better than the other. The chef cooks fish very well, a swordfish for lunch was just delicious. Good wine selection as well.

This was my second trip to BI. Last time I stayed for two nights this time three so I've had plenty of time to visit various restaurants. Never do I visit a restaurant more than once on a trip. Beachhead has been the one exception. The staff is friendly, food delicious, drinks are good and well sized, location is also... More

Pedaled in for lunch. We both had the veggie burger - decent tho lacking in flavor...nothing exceptional but quality service and again - the view! It's a great lunchtime spot for certain!

I had the lobster roll and it was very good; all lobster meat and no lettuce or other fillers thrown in. I also tried the Rhode Island clam chowder because I can't get it where I live. It was the best I ever had, full of clams. My companion had the fish and chips and she said it was probably... More

Biked over from the beach for lunch. Prices were reasonable, food was good, service was friendly, and outside seating made it perfect. Clean restrooms, well maintained garden and building!

Great lunch spot, sandwiches were excellent, cold beers and right on the beach ( street too). Outdoor seating, all in the group raved about their meals. Highly recommend for lunch.

Thank Kevin S
