Standard beach bar -- there's the guy playing Dave Matthews covers on acoustic guitar, mediocre cocktails, mediocre food...but a nice ocean view and beach vibe. Probably more fun late-night when this is the go-to bar. There are better options for food.

Stopped on a Saturday night for drinks. Wedding inside, we sat outside at the tiki hut right on the beach. Great drinks, bartenders-(Daniel and Jenny)-were so friendly and fun. Came back on Sunday evening for dinner. Baked stuffed lobster was awesome! Our waiter was great.

Ballard's reminds one of a Fort Lauderdale gathering place. It is very large, and quite the party place. The old Ballard's had more character and charm of Block Island. You go for the location and not the food. A drink to see the water and...More

We stayed at Ballard's sister property Hotel Mannisses but played & ate at Ballard's. The beach isn't as crowded after Labor Day, the water is warm, the drinks are cold and the international staff is super friendly. The location on the harbor allows some great...More

You go here for the setting and atmosphere. Had cold lobster roll which was OK, but nothing special. Side of sweet Potato fries limp and warm.

Service was lousy except for the South African man at the patio bar. He went the extra mile. No wait staff on the beach in September

Our family enjoyed a delicious and relaxing lunch here in August. Our two sons were able to play in the sand as we watched and ate. Service was great. I highly recommend the naked lobster roll!

Just steps from the ferry. You can relax on the beach and have a few drinks or a bite to eat (beach side or inside restaurant). Food is very good. Alcoholic drinks are a bit pricey but worth it. Water is beautiful. Adults do need...More

Ballard's rents chairs and umbrellas in September through the end of the season (they close the last Sunday in September). They have showers and changing rooms. They don't have lockers.
I know that you cannot bring in alcohol, but can you bring in your own food? (Sandwiches/ snacks)
