Neat spot. A bit overpriced for food quality, in my opinion. $14 lobster soup stunk. Nachos with cheese wiz. The bar itself is comfortable though. Go in for a beer.. just not the food.

My husband and I had dinner there Friday night! I was craving a good burger...we had burgers and beers...fried pickle burger...oh so delicious! Comfort food at its best...burger with fried pickles, smothered in ranch dressing...what could be bad!!!!

Was disappointed in the lobster chowder, overloaded with potatoes and very little lobster. For the price it shouldnt be that way. In the past it was great.

Stopped by after looking in the five other restaurants with in one block. It was fine, hard to imagine such praises, cold food, unimaginative fare, average menu. Attentive server is the only reason we give a 3, would have been a 2 based on food, walk on one more block, its worth it!

Low key, relaxed pub with generous portions of really good food. Smoker in front is a sign of the tasty smoked meats you can try. The special I orders was a blt with roast suckling pig added. There was enough bacon and roast suckling pig for two sandwiches. Good variety of beers on tap and by the bottle. True to... More

While on an overnight trip to celebrate we ate supper here. The food was very flavorful and decent portions. The have a variety of things on tap including Uncle Eli's Root Beer (had not encountered that one yet). The Sweet Chipotle Hot Wings were excellent.

This is a great place for friends trying to relax and have a couple beers. The food was great! The bartender was helpful in helping us on what to do on the island. Overall we had a great time.

Liked this spot for before dinner beers. Not fancy. Seemed like a lot of locals there. Not much of a selection of IPAs though if you are looking for that. Some people were eating and others getting takeout. Ok for a couple of beer stop.

We walked to Poor People's Pub for lunch after getting off of the ferry, which was about a 5 minute walk. Their menu had a wide variety for affordable prices -- two of us split a pitcher of their signature beer and a couple appetizers, and we each ordered a meal. The macaroni and cheese was excellent! The atmosphere was... More

Casual atmosphere with a variety of beers and food. The wings were excellent especially the black cherry glazed sauce. They have a nice variety of personal pizzas (great crust). The steak sandwich was one of the best we've every had!!

Thank Angie C
