I was in Wokingham for a business trip and wanted to eat some real Indian food. I googled and found a few and chose this as I was attracted to the name. The restaurant is impressive and has a lovely modern decor and style. I was greeted by 'Khush' who seemed to be the manager. I told him I was... More

Loved the welcome, loved the poppadoms and the accompanying relishes, loved the quality of food. A bit pricey, but if it stops the rifraff that's fine by me.

Great food and friendly service. The owner Khush is very friendly and attentive, as are his staff. Highly recommended! Book a table Thursday - Sunday though, it gets busy!

Went down on a business trip, popped in... mixed starter and chicken main with naan bread...washed down with a cold Kingfisher Not a big fan of Bangladeshi cusine....surprised with the price...nearing £30 ...felt I paid over the odds...night before had a Chinese...which cost considerably less!!!

Collected a takeaway last night and we were all hugely disappointed and won't be going here again. We all found our dishes very watery and really lacked in flavour, we chose this place based on reviews - either the chef was having a bad night or people don't know what a good Indian meal SHOULD taste like

Party of three was easily accommodated - even though it was busy. Food was delish - and wasn't too expensive. Staff were attentive but not overly so

Have been visiting the Tamarind tree for around 8 years now, usually very busy but whenever I arrive with my other half we are greeted with a smile and a table is usually made up for us (They know we are quick) or we never wait longer than 10-15 minutes. Tried many dishes from the menu and have never had... More

Visited this restaurant for a second time during a short holiday in Wokingham area. Manager and his staff could not have been more welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. To begin with,we had poppadums which came with a giant size pickle tray. Menu was very extensive and we finally settled on a sizzling chicken dish and traditional lamb... More

Went to the Tamarind Tree for a birthday celebration with family, on arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome and felt very comfortable as all of the staff who were very polite and friendly. Food was delicious, big portions and came quickly despite being a bit busy. Have nothing negative to say whatsoever, i will definitely be returning.
