Starter excellent-mackerel cooked beautifully with beetroot, but it was the dessert that made the meal! Orange and almond cake with pistachios and creme fraiche. Absolutely stunning! Will definitely come back

see review under dunblane hydro. but essentially they didn't take on board food allergies stated at time of booking meaning I ended up with a pretty bland afternoon tea

As guests at the hotel we had dinner in the kailyard and was a fab experience the food was 1st class and menu had a lot of choice! At the beginning service was a little slow but it was really busy this picked up and overall happy with the experience

As guests at the hotel we specifically chose to book into the Kailyard for a romantic meal for my birthday. I was particularly excited by the promise of a choice of vegetarian food - which there was - but my starter & main were disappointing...lacking in flavour & clearly dreamt up by someone who makes the usual mistake of piling... Lukewarm. Slow service. Nice staff but certainly not what you would expect from what I understand to be a Michelin starred chef.

Nice friendly staff, over priced average food, used the restaurant when stayed at the hotel, menu selection is poor, nice setting though

Visited here whilst staying at the Doubletree. Couldn't recommend visiting this restaurant enough. Standard of service along with price is exactly where you would expect. The food was of excellent quality, served quickly and politely. The waiters and waitresses were more than happy to make recommendations, to which I tried the Halibut and my partner the steak. Both dishes were... More

Ate here everyday. Breakfast is buffet style but you can ask for other items and these are generally met. Evening menus were superb and alternated from silver to purple both containing Nick Nairn specialities. Good vegetarian and children menus also available. Absolutely fantastic x

Enjoyed a fantastic meal here at the Kailyard last night whilst staying at the hotel, Service was excellent from start to finish even although the restaurant was very busy. Food was first class I really enjoyed the Trout starter, and the Salmon and Chower main course I would definitely recommend and to finish a fantastic Honeycomb Parfait to finish. Will... More

Myself and my wife had a lovely meal here. We booked a dinner , bed and breakfast deal with the hotel. This is why we ate here and it was worth it. If you don't have a deal it is £29.95 for 3 courses. The trifle which is a Nick Nairn signature dish was excellent. Overall I would recommend this... More
