Hello all users. This is a truly review by independent reviewer. Visited this place couple of times, and this time, was more than enough for me to place a review. You go to the restaurant for a good prepared food, and spending a good time...in a pleasant atmosphere, this is of course not about this PLACE. Ordered a nice described pizza from the main menu, after eating it, in 4 hours got the high level intoxicating. Thank you a lot dear chef and Hugos Terace administration for selling products with a $$$$ price and having them of a worst quality. Will never visit this place again. There are a lot of alternatives in Malta, especially in St.Julians area where you can have much better experience than in this place.More

Highly recommend Hugo’s terrace to anyone visiting Malta. The staff were brilliant and the service was 10/10. Amazing food and cocktails with a very chilled out vibe. Will definitely be back in the summer.More

Visited last Saturday for the second time, we came back as the place seemed a place for little older people and not so clubby as most of the places in the area. Got to the door and been looked at by THREE security guards who...LITERALLY SCREENED US with more than half empty venue, acted like if they were checking if they could take us in then refused. With literally soooooo many empty table (DO NOT GIVE ME THAT BS OF WE HAVE FUTURE BOOKING SINCE IT WAS DEAD). We ended up going to the restaurant next door where we had to queue right in front of Hugo's terrace and seen soo many people going in without a booking. Again probably we were too brown for them or didn't look like we could afford it (I AM 100% CERTAIN that it was because of our looks for the way they've screened us) not knowing that we literally were there the night before and spent over 200 euros on drinks only. Absolutely put us off and would never recommended to anyone!!!More

Very bad experience! Many tables empty but massive security with deplorable manners dated no reservation no get in!! Maybe he just didn’t like the look of us but totally uncalled for! Went to Hugo’s Pub and got in with no problem and polite staffMore

My wife and l travel all the round the world and explore places. We visited Malta for the first time and made reservation in this lovely place by recommendation of some of our friend who live in Malta. First we want to thanks to lovely...Jelena who show world class professionalism and help us to explore more of this lovely Island! Food was very good service also! We will come again for sure!
