This was a satisfying and truly great-value meal! Not only did they offer an unlimited selection of diverse and delicious dishes at the buffet, but there was also an interesting twist with the main course.
To my surprise, I didn’t realize that Milanese steak, just like Austrian steak, is actually a classic breaded and fried dish. Since I can’t eat fried food, I politely declined their generous offer to change my meal, as the issue was on my end.
However, they still insisted on letting me reorder a new main course, and the fresh fish fillet I chose was absolutely delicious—juicy, perfectly cooked, and, of course, completely boneless. 😍
On top of that, the spirit-free drinks were excellent as well. Everything was so perfect that it almost felt unreal!”

Because we stay at the Hyatt Regency we enjoy every morning the fantastic breakfast buffet. So we decided to have dinner yesterday as well. Yes there are not many menus to choose from. But what is on the card is a delight. And as always the staff is very friendly and attentive.

Incredible, flavorful food (and drink) from the bread all the way to desert. We chose three courses and it was excellent across the board. The gnocchi starter was a personal highlight for me, and our server Kalyan was attentive and on point throughout the evening. Live music was an added bonus.

A disappointing meal here mid week. We were one of only two tables dining so the restaurant lacked a little atmosphere but I had high expectations of the food itself.
The menu offered good variety for a hotel restaurant but unfortunately it didn't quite hit the mark. The porchetta was fine if not a little bland and unimaginative and the ravioli main was certainly lacking seasoning. Food was nicely presented and the service was good but for the price of the meal, I expected a bit more from the food. There are hundreds of restaurants in the area and I think the restaurant needs to improve the quality of the food if it is to complete at its price point.
As with a lot of other restaurants in the area there are a huge amount of 5* reviews from reviewers whose only contribution is for that particular restaurant. Just keep that in mind when looking at ranking and ratings!

The food they serve is 10/10, took a little long but then we were told that it took time because of the meat dish that had been ordered.
Good drink and good drinks.
It otherwise takes a lot and often a long time to get in touch with the waiters, they are inattentive and you have to expect to wait a long time... I have had to go to them several times to get a menu and to be able to order what we wanted.

Total disappointment ... Staying in the beautiful setting of the Hyatt Regency Malta with my girlfriend I decide to dine in the restaurant attached to the hotel .... the waiters friendly and punctual ... the only “big” flaw the chef, not height of the context, also teased about the first course that should be with sea bass and lemon instead was swordfish with a lot of oil and tomato paste “that with lemon does not approach at all” to my comment I was told that they had no swordfish but as a Sicilian who eats fresh fish every day does not tease me easily! I hope the management will take action with the chef! Not to mention the second... boiled fish in the worst hospitals... one word: it's not your thing to cook!

Although we were one day late for their special menu they pulled out all the stops to deliver the meal . Great service from Kaylen and team . Great vista of the chapel , a great place to spend Saturday night away from the hustle and bustle.

Staying at the Hyatt Regency Malta we have had the delight of having breakfast at Seed every morning. We cannot fault the selection of food on offer which includes a fantastic selection of pastries and cereals as well as a good selection of continental and English breakfast offerings.
What has the made the experience even better is the level of service we have received from the staff each and every time we have visited. Nothing is too much bother and they cannot be attentive enough. Plates are constantly cleared from your table once you have finished a dish and any particular breakfast requests are dealt with extremely efficiently. A special mention goes out to Siobhan, Buraj, Keith, Demi and Michel. You have all provided an exemplary service and it has been an absolute pleasure visiting Seed each and every morning.

I thoroughly enjoyed everything. The local tuna belly was delicious, the fish of the day, grouper, was extremely delicious and cooked to perfection (i.e., not over cooked, and the chocolate, with pear & nut desert concoction was pretty damn heavenly. Plus, the wait staff are very professional (multi-lingual) and attentive (without being overly so). It was a great dinner. Cheers to the chef & staff at Seed. Thanks again for a memorable evening.

Exceptional breakfast!! We enjoyed starting our mornings here during our stay - large selection of hot and cold food and never too busy. The salmon lox were delicious and so fresh! Prashanth, our server for both days, was attentive, kind and very welcoming. We hope to return!

Surprised by the good service and food we got here after staying in the hotel for 4 nights. Dinner was very relaxed but waiters were attentive and helpful. All our food was delicious and there is a well priced wine menu. Not sure why they aren't higher up the list in St. Julian's!

This was our first visit to Malta, and we couldn't have picked a great hotel the Hyatt Regency. We had a very pleasant stay with our needs catered. I would like to specifically thank Jon and Prashanth who were very attentive to our requirements and guidance.
My only complaint is we are members of the Regency Club and many times we visited the club we found food and drinks not well stocked so had to visit the reception few times to get drinks or finger foods. Other than that a perfect stay.

Omg!!!! This is a very very good restaurant I must say. I and my friend Soli spent 10 days at Hayatt Regency and throughout our stay we couldn’t eat outside except at Seed flavorful moments, their food is everything one could want. Ofcourse their services was very good 👍, their staffs did great job 👏 and Mr KALYAN is an exceptional staff very nice and friendly person, he surely loves his customers which I admire a lot. Thanks a lot Mr Kalyan.
We look forward seeing you again next time we come to Malta.

I had a lovely solo dinner here on my first night in the hotel! My server was so kind and gentle and very attentive. It's always nice when eating at the hotel doesn't feel like you're "settling". Thanks to Kalyn for everything!

Seed is absolutely good value for money and well worth a visit if you're up for fine dining. The degustation menu portions may seem small, but they more than fill you up, esp. when paired with their perfect bread, butter and tomato paste. It's sinfully good. All the servers are great, nice and helpful, but a special shout-out goes to Dimitri(o)s who was really more than helpful when it came to our special wishes as well. Many thanks, we'll be sure to visit again!
