We really enjoyed our dinner at Susurrus. We had the 8 course degustation menu which was really great, especially the beef cheeks and the white chocolate and matcha fondant. Our waitress Patricia was really friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely come back!

A beautiful location with a great view. The culinary offer was also brilliant! The nice and courteous staff always knew in advance what we wanted and fulfilled our every wish! Highly recommended!

Our second time dinning at Susurrus and both times very attentive and friendly staff made our dinner so special. Selection of food for everybody's taste. We'll be coming back for sure!

Excellent, amazing location, starting with the food.. startes really very good.. Next tjme we will take just starters.. main dishes.. millky veal .. I ordered medium rare and I got It medium well done.. duck imperial definitely overdone.. Wine selection could be much better..

The service was good and we were looked after well despite one of our guests having some issues with the contents of the dishes . The restaurant is described as Mediterranean /South American outside its entrance . The menu is however almost dominated by Far...Eastern/ Japanese influences . Its dishes are exotically worded which is not transmitted onto the plate . Presentation was non-existent except for something green thrown on , with little attempt to make the dish look as if it was presented with care and attention . What is unforgivable in a restaurant of the supposed standard that this one aspires to ,is food served on cold plates and lukewarm. The kitchen needs shaking up to take some interest and care in presenting dishes more appealingly .The prices are high for the poor quality available .The veal was fatty and tough .Duck , the sauce too sweet and beef cheeks not tender and needed further slow cooking . The potatoes and vegetables were the best feature because they were hot! The waiting staff did their best and are hampered by the standard of cooking which they must take to the table . They knew our dissatisfaction and kindly offered us desserts complimentary .Other restaurants are cheaper and much better . This restaurant is not good value for money.More

Despite the good location and excellent service the 8 courses tasting menu was very average only two dishes were very good the brown meagre and the black angus were perfect the rest was average , the king prawns tempura were more like shrimps with a...very heavy batter tempura , the ceviche too sweet , the wine pairing ! Each glass was from 5 to 10€ bottles! Better save your € and go to one of the one star Michelin restaurant were you may pay a bit more but at least you get something special !More

Enjoyed a lovely evening on the terrace overlooking the sea. Food was excellent, service top notch and an overall great experience which one will gladly pay for.Hope to visit again soon.

We had high hopes for this restaurant after reading some glowing reviews. Unfortunately it fell far short of the standard that we were led to believe that we should expect. We chose the 8 course taster menu with paired wines. At a cost of €60...+ €35 per head. Of the 8 courses there were 2 that were excellent, the sea merge and the Black Angus. We chose not to have the desert in the end, but all the others all had major flaws. The Ceviche was sickly sweet, the fish was completely masked by a tropical fruit sauce. The duck wontons were tough and greasy with gristle and sinew in the rubbery duck. The tiger prawns were in a very heavy tempura, that tasted of a dirty deep fat fryer. The rabbit tacos were very average, nothing special about these tacos. Wine pairings were good. But most of these are wines we recognised from the local supermarket. Portion size started well, but got larger and larger. We couldn’t manage the desert by the end of the meal. It should be noted that the waiting staff were very polite and attentive, also the atmosphere and location is superb.More

First of all I want to say that I want to give more than a 5 out of 5. Me and my girlfriend loved our diner at Susurrus! We took the menu of 8 courses and we loved them all! Big shoutout to the chef...and the waitress of our evening! But most of all I want to give a shoutout and a big thank you to Stojan, our sommelier of the night. Beside the best wines served with our dinner, he was the best sommelier, teacher and compagnon to have with our dinner. Once we would be back to Malta, we definitely come back to this restaurant/experience.More
