It´s a nice place, tiny but with an inviting atmosphere

It´s a cafe where I usually go to have a cappuccino and a great time with friends or my husband. It´s a nice place, tiny but with an inviting atmosphere. They really have brilliant service and above average, I can bet that's why they always are full of people. Besides the expresso and the cappuccino there, I must recommend the croissant. The croissant pastry has good quality, it´s crunchy. Another good option is the arancini with chicken and cheese. I would highly recommend this restaurant in front of Balluta Bay. If you want to have a good dish and services while you are sipping a coffee you should go there.

Welcoming staff, but too small.

Food was lovely, unfortunately the restaurant was so busy there was no available seats. The staff were very apologetic and attempted to accommodate, but the restaurant was just too small for larger groups. The pastries were nice and flavourful and the savoury food looked tasty too!

Decent cafe in Balluta Bay

Enjoyed a very large glass of Prosecco & a tasty ham & cheese toasted sitting outside early January in this lovely cafe. Price for 2 was €14 which was good value. Service was slow to begin with but speeded up

Overcrowded and Overpriced

I went for breakfast on Sunday morning with a friend, the shop was filled with too many people. I bought two calzoni and two pieces of cake (one cassata and a pastry with cream) and we had to take them away because there was not any seat available. The calzoni are too expensive and quite poorly filled, the pastry with cream was nothing special and a bit overpriced, the cassata, instead, was perfect, worthy every cent spent.

Waiting staff are non attentive. Have to wait ages to get served whilst they chat amongst themselves

This place has progressively gone downhill. Items never arrive together and are always luke warm to cold. A toast should be hot. Cheese doesn’t even have time to melt. Takes around 15 minutes to get your coffee which is nearly cold by the time it comes. Waiting staff are useless. I sometimes think my order has been sitting on the counter inside for a while before being brought out

A lunch to remember

This is the place you want to visit for breakfast, lunch or even evening meal. It is opened all day. We not only came to meet my friend's daughter for the first time, but we had the best lunch and coffee. The food is freshly prepared, the coffee is smooth and lovely, and we tried one of the pistachio mouth bite tart which was exquisite. Their position is ideal too and in a very nice area. What else could we ask for? A very friendly team is running this place who make you welcome and can't do enough to make you feel happy. A must go when visiting Malta.

Absolute Perfection! 😍

From breakfast to lunch to pastries to cakes and most importantly “coffee”. This place is absolute perfection. If you want great place to relax and sip on ur coffee or enjoy ur meal along side the most friendly service - then pass by!

Best Lemon Milkshake

Overall nice looking and affordable menu, but very inconsistent. Even trying the same dish, one time is perfectly toasted panini with fresh ingredients, and the other barely warm old tasting bun with almost brown lettuce. Almost every time me and my partner get the food served with 10-20 minutes difference even tho we order at once, and most importantly the staff at the outside area not only not feel welcoming, but is also pretty unprofessional since when i found bacon in my vegetarian omelet i was treated like its my fault (regardless this mistake, they have a lot of vegan and vegetarian options) The milkshakes are amazing!

This place used to be great but it’s gone downhill.

I used to love this place but I had some food delivered lately and the bagel was dry and stale. On another occasion the food wasn’t delivered and there is no way to contact the restaurant. Clearly they worked better when it was just one small cafe. Avoid.

Worst sandwich ever received

Ordered a sandwich for breakfast. €6.50 for salad which was black and yellow for how old it was. Bread was toasted at least 13 hours before . Cold, soggy and with ham which was out of date as per picture! Stay away from the restaurant. Do it for your body’s health!

Wonderful brunch

This is the perfect place for brunch. They don’t have very sophisticated dishes, but everything we tried was delicious. The portions are generous, the prices are very good, they serve very good coffee. If you go there you should definitely try pistachio cornetti.

Nice view,bad service.

Such a shame for a beautiful view but the service really bad,slow and lost.(This time speaking when is not busy and only few tables) Im really sorry i have to mention it but coming from someone who used to operate with same industry. Orders are not coming at the same time,although they’ve been ordered at the same time (coffee and water etc) We ordered toast it was cold(the chees never had a chance to melt) ,pancakes cold . We tried coming many times and see if something will change but every each time similar experience.

Truly italian vibe

When entering the caffee we were already greeted (the girls in our group) with "ciao bella". For 7 days I've been searching for actually good coffee and this place had the best one in Malta. Truly nice vibe and people.

Bad experience

There’s a lot of waiters and waitresses that are talking to each other and not approaching the customers. We were waiting long time while they where talking instead of coming to take an order plus it was only few tables with customers and 4 waiters outside while none of them find a time to take an order. Also when taking orders they can not remember literally 2 different things we ordered and coming to us few times to repeat it. The pastry is not fresh most of the time

I have ordered croissant but lady tried to tell me that i ordered toast, she was talking to me like someone who is stupid. Than she could count differerence of the prices. She doesn’t even speak english well.
