Over priced terrible breakfast! First of all the whole place needs a full refurbishment and clean. Unwelcoming staff with no get up and go. Myself, my wife and 9 years old son stayed at the adjoining Travelodge for the weekend and decided to have breakfast at the above little chef. We ordered drinks, my coffee came with a separate jug... This is a large unfriendly place with a limited menu and pricey too. The staff as with a lot of these places are young and untrained, not a place i would return to in a hurry.

Stopped off here on the way home and wished we hadn't. Both meals were served with lettuce that was browning at the edges and whole place felt tired and dingy. I had to use the baby changing facilities which was also the disabled toilet and the baby changing shelf was directly over the bins (and I mean it was actually... More

Ordered two Olympic breakfasts, the eggs and fried potatoes were freshly cooked and piping hot the rest was Luke warm at best. When the staff came over to ask if everything was okay I mentioned the problem, he went away and spoke to the chef and then came back to offer a replacement. We declined as we were in a... More

Staying in the adjoining Travelodge we used the Little Chef twice for our evening meal. Due to the dirty carpets and run down condition of the seating area we opted to have our food in takeaway boxes. Fish/Scampi and chips excellent on both occasions. Some staff excellent others less so. Premises need a complete revamp. Use only as a takeaway!

Thankfully I used the toilets before eating because if the kitchens are as poorly looked after as the the bathrooms it would have resulted in a case of Delhi belly for sure. Filthy, disgusting and run down. Avoid.

This place is really dirty, from the cobwebs in the window to the chipped pots, broken cutlery and torn/broken seats. The paintwork is marked with food, posters are stuck on the walls with sellotape. A very sad place. Its a shame as this is all that I will remember and not how nice the food was.

Thank Sandra A
