Went here on a Thursday night just on an off chance as our intended Indian restaurant was shut. Very good value and nice tasting 4 course special on offer. However, when the final bill arrived it was priced higher than expected due to the price they charge for Soft drinks. Due to this would visit other Indian restaurants where similar... More

Called about 5pm , resturant was nearly empty , not a good sign but it was early. The waiter was very polite and friendly to 2 customers who couldn't decide what to order. We started with veggie bahgies , 2 each . They were very light and tasty. I'd ordered a veggie Palak , hadn't tried that curry before. It was... More

Not realising the fabulous Billy Elliot lasted three hours! It was very late when we entered, expecting to be told they had stopped serving............ But! The welcome was warm and popadoms and pickles were swiftly produced while we perused the menu. The popadoms were good and the pickles were superb, the usual mint and mango sauces were accompanied by two... More

Called in here after the theatre. Had a lovely meal. Pleasant surroundings and friendly staff. Restaurant was busy, but didn't have too long to wait for our meal to be served.

Second visit here, food tasty, lovely friendly atmosphere. Just walked in off the street and were seated straight away. Were asked if we were going to the theatre so that they could make sure our food came out quickly to give us plenty of time to get over there.Waiter was very knowledgeable and made good recommendations, peshwari naan was gorgeous,... We booked ahead for a 5pm Saturday table, and I'm glad we did. the restaurant was quiet when we arrived but full by the time we finished our two courses. Conveniently located between the Bridges Car Park and the Empire Theatre on a quaint alley, the restaurant is lovely, with friendly attentive staff, and beautifully presented food. We enjoyed everything... More

Called in without a booking, no problem and even asked us if we were going to the theatre to make sure we got away in good time. We just had poppadoms and pickle to start, it was delicious and a nice change from the usual lime pickle. The mains were also gorgeous, very tasty and nice moist chicken. The peshwari... More

Do not normally have indians, visiting the theatre we decided to try somewhere different as had always walked past and it looked nice. Food was excellent, loads of flavours. Enjoyed the choice of pickles that came with the poppadoms
