The team at 'Auberge Saint Walfrid' hosted a superb wedding supper for us in October (48 adults plus children). Their large room was a perfect size, and we used the smaller room for a wonderful champagne/canapes on arrival. The staff were friendly and helpful to ALL our guests which were a mixture of French, German and English. Many of our... More

My meal (Pied de Porc désosser) was a terrible mess and I could not eat it. It was the most unpleasant mixture of fat, jellied something and grey-rubbery substance that had been rolled into a log and breaded/fried. I have never been served such an odd combination of whatever it actually was. I looked for anything resembling actual pork in... More

We stopped at this hotel on our way to Germany. The hotel is very comfortable and attractive. The living and dining rooms have a wonderful display of the china, pots and figurines made in Sarreguemines. Our room was very spacious and so was the bathroom. There too we could see the artisanal work as the water spout was a lion's... More

Great local produce. The wine cellar is great. We had a visit to the kitchen. Try the Mirrabelle EAU de VIE.

Whenever I stay here, I take the PROPOSED menu , and it offers great value for money top quality food for fair prices. I find the service a bit to classic, but very polite and attentive. The menu changes on regular basis and always offers surprises. All the business guests I had here were ravished.

We stayed here for one night in September. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very upscale. The hotel staff were very friendly and showed us to our rooms as soon as we arrived despite being about two hours early. We didn't have dinner at the hotel restaurant which appeared very nice and popular. We did, however, have breakfast at the... More

This has a well deserved Michelin Star. OK, not cheap but good value for money. Aperitiv on the terace, The Menu at €52 - Asparagus season offered excellent variations on the theme. Good wine list with several very interesting bottles. Professional service in French, German and English as required. Dinner for 2 with all drinks €188.

The whole atmosphere creates a medieval age atmosphere, fitting in the whole building with knight figurines; antique furniture and the usage of old stone tiles. The reception: Very friendly and well informed staff. Direct view on the kitchen The rooms: The rooms are renovated with bright and friendly colors; the style is dominated by huge pillows, nicely arranged curtains and... More
