It is a beautiful restaurant in a picturesque place, all set gorgeously for fine-dining; waiters in uniform, nicely laid tables, absence of noise, good wine selection.... But... I was not impressed by the food AT ALL. It definitely looked amazing and elaborate, but lacked taste. Maybe you can be more lucky with other choice from their menu. We had: "salad... More

Very nice place. Welcome by the owner, nicely decorated dining areas, fire place and beautifull garden. Tradition on preparing good food. Stuff is very profesional. Wines-no problem all best Italian and world wines. Place to go. Higly recomended.

I celebrated my 65th birthday with 21 of my friends and family at the restaurant. Piero Zanini was our host and he organised the reception in the lawns overlooking the valley and organised a local musical trio to entertain us outside and at the meal which was held in a large cellar. What a spectacular three course meal accompanied by... More

If you are looking for an awesome experience, that's the place you must go! 20 minutes from the highway A23 from Austria to Venice you will find this piece of jewelry in the quiet and tiny village of Colloredo Di Monte Albano. The restaurant in a building of stone opposite the old castle captures you with the perfect italian familiar... More

I went there with a group of friends, about 20, and had an excellent meal in a very nice setting. The restaurant is placed in a tiny village about 20km away from Udine. It is absolutely worth the trip. The village (hardly a village, just few houses) has a very nice, partly ruined castle which adds beauty to the whole... More

This is for sure one of the restaurants I use as "Gold Standard" when talking about "Slow Food" and good dining. The food is excellent, service is of the highest level, the wine cellar is full of the best wines you can drink, in the summer a live piano concert is performed in the garden. If you come to Friuli... More

I was there for a lovely wedding party: food was fine, service was fine, outside garden was nice. But it's the owner that was horrible! he had a shocking behaviour: I saw him running out of the kitchen and beat a 3 year old child (the son of a guest) and swore. His intemperate mood let us astonished, asked for... More

Description
Trecentesca structure inserted in the majestic setting of the Monte Albano Castle Mediaeval Age settlement in the Friuli region. In the club you can enjoy a fantastic "Pozzo" used to collect water dated 1303. A pictorial view allows you to admire the mountains of the complex of the Friulian Dolomites and the Julian Alps. The valley below gives a spectacular image of flower fields. Its position slightly hilly gives warm breezes from the sea by the vague taste of saltiness. Mediterranean and extensive vineyards design soft harmonies from regional pine scents. The property features large indoor halls: The Vaulted Room, The Fireplace Room and a beautiful garden protected by a majestic sailing. Incredible our "Cantina" fascinating stage to live moments of emotion safe.
