Really enjoyed our visits to this pub, excellent real ales, good food and friendly service. Enjoyed chatting with the friendly locals and visitors alike, plus the entertaining hens that wander about the area and are partial to a sup of ale if given the chance.

An absolute gem of a pub. Great welcome and superb food and selection of ales. Can recommend the Dipping Pork and Apple Stuffing. Beautiful! Thank you for such a lovely place to visit!

We eat here semi-regularly, and are never disappointed. Lovely friendly owners who always make an effort to accommodate my vegetarian diet, and really generous, good quality portions.

We recently stayed in Winster as a a large family group of 19 people. It's very difficult to get a restaurant reservation for so many people - and if you do it can affect the service and quality of the occasion. So what better than...More
