This is not a restaurant, it is like a small cafe with plastic chairs outside, overlooking the beach. The selection of food is restrictive and they definitely play on The Montalbano theme :). They seem to attract large groups, we noticed tour buses arriving and having a pre-booked laid tables with aranchini and local pastries. Having watched Montalbano, who loves... More

This snack-bar seemed to be easing down for the winter when we visited. Limited choice available and, unlike almost every other place we ate in Sicily, gave little impression of being interested in their customers.

This walk-in cafe has a few tables, and is very popular. The arancinis are varied and tasty, one is a good lunch at just €2.50. located through the passageway opposite Casa Di Montalbano.

We love Arancini. They are a speciality in Sicily. Known as 'Little Oranges' they are deep fried rice balls with various fillings. I had mine with Ragu, the 'Other Half' had Cheese, Ham and Bechemal. The service was excellent but not too intrusive. We loved it.

Arancini are good. The location is superb if you can be there at sunset as you can sit on the low wall along the road and take in the sunset while eating your arancino.

Wonderful service. Served tea properly on a teapot. Friendly staff and not expensive. Good spot in the square to capture the views of the little harbour and lighthouse

As mentioned below a small hole in the wall cafe with some plastic tables and chairs outside affording good views of the small harbour and catching the afternoon sun. It provides a varied choice of Arancini's and Pizza slices at very reasonable levels. So perfectly reasonable for some low-cost snacks and beer after visiting Montalbano's house
