My husband and I learned about this place from another guest staying at the Minca Hotel. After a great hike to the waterfalls my husband and I decided we would land back here for a treat before going back to our room at the Hotel...Minca (right next door). What a wonderful, cozy little place. With charm and delight we enjoyed sharing our treat of freshly squeezed lemonade, fresh tomato/basil/cheese and an out of this world chocolate crepe! Family owned, relaxed, truly another gem in this wonderful little village. Thank you!!!highly recommended!More

We are Claudia, George and Luna. We live in Australia and We love travelling to exotic places around the world. We discovered Minca many years ago and try to go there, every couple of years. In our las trips there we always go to Ei...mox to have a delicious tropical culinary experience. The owners Andres and Andrea, are so nice and the staff and environment of this little restaurant in the middle of the Sierra Nevada is so welcoming. We highly recommended. An amazing landscape and exquisite food!More

Our travelbook pointed us to Ei Mox Muica. It's not on the main strip where many of the other restaurants are, and this is a good thing if you want a unique experience. My girlfriend and I were super excited to eat at Ei Mox...Muica and went our first night in Minca at around 7pm. We asked around and everyone we talked to had nothing but good things to say. We arrived to the property and no one way there. We settled for the defeat and thought our guidebook must have been outdated, despite the signs on the street pointing us to the hotel. After not being able to stop thinking about Ei Mox Muica the next day, we decided to stop by during the afternoon just to see (after all, the hours listed says it opens at 11am). We were greeted at the gate by the husband who happily invited us in (the restaurant is actually their home). We talked with the wife and we confirmed that they were in fact open. We told them we would return that evening. I'm not sure how they normally operate, but it might be a good idea to stop by during the day before you have dinner....just so you have a better idea of it's location (the walk to their home is not well-lit). We were so happy with our meal. They have two tables and we were the only ones there. You can get any dish as either a crepe or pasta. We split the difference and I got a pasta, while my girl got a crepe. I've never seen her eat a meal so quickly! We were both super pleased with the meal. If you're not a spanish speaker, it wouldn't be a bad idea to bring a spanish dictionary. Their english is not great, and they only have a spanish menu. We were finishing our meal and all of a sudden we were offered chocolate. Holy cow--the chocolate was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Not only did we each devour a chocolate bar (coconut & sesame), we purchased two for the road. I promise you that you've never had chocolate that is so delicious (and I'm not even a chocolate guy!). If you find yourself in Minca, you can thank me later for this recommendation.More

Woaahhhh the chocolate here is crazy good!! I think we tried all the flavours possible! Our favourites were plum, mint, and raisin. Very good value considering it's made with pure cacao. The cafe is very cute! We were sad we discovered it on our last...day or else we would've been there daily.More

This is a cute little restaurant in minca that u must eat at. The owner takes her time to cook the meal but when it is done it is satisfaction guaranteed. The food has subtle flavors and she combines the dishes with veggies that compliment...the main dish. My wife and I both absolutely loved what we ate and drank. Don't go there famished as the meals take 20-25 mins to be ready, but it's worth the wait. While waiting u can enjoy the birds visiting their garden. Highly recommend this restaurant!!More

A rustic place with the most wonderful food that was made freshly. So tastey I can still taste the simplicity of a wonderful platter. The owner also makes her own organic chocolate.Ladies beware.

The most amazing culinary experience I had in a restaurant. Its not a restaurant either, its the home of a genius couple and their twins, she is a magic cook, the first taste of everything she prepared for us touched emotional chords we didn't even...knew they existed. Taking the plane to Santa Marta and a taxi to Minca just to have a lunch or dinner there and go back to Bogota, would make perfect sense!More
