This little gem is wonderful!! Do not be mislead by the entrance because the restaurant is in the back of the garden next to the river. The cooks is a passionate team that grills fresh food on the spot in their top open kitchen. Friendly...English speaking waiter. Lucky to have jumped into this place just by passing by. If you feel like dining in a cool environment with relaxed music , friendly staff and lovely food , go for it, you will not regret !More

Absolutely lovely place! The meat is delicious and the open kitchen gives a welcoming atmosphere. It's a little of the main road but definitely worth the walk! Highly recommend this place!

We stopped here for a very good steak and a delicious pork dish cooked with tamarind. Great service and lovely food. Would definitely have returned if we had been staying in Minca

The food was very good, and the server was attentive and spoke fairly good English. Would definitely go back.

It’s a bit out of the center and you might not expect the restaurant on this place. However, it’s is in my opinion the best restaurant in Minca. Make sure to walk toward the lower terrace to sit next to the water and open kitchen...(&bbq!) for the best experience!More

This restaurant is incredible. Outdoor dining and fresh quality food prepared in front of you in an open air kitchen by the river. They were able to accommodate our 14 month old son in a high chair. We really enjoyed the atmosphere being outside with...the jungle plants, trees and flowers. The river also provided a great ambiance. You can walk down to the river and perhaps swim if you have the proper attire. We all ordered the steak prepared on a coal fire and enjoyed watching the chief cook cook our food to perfection in front of our table. The grilled steak is served with potatoes and a side salad, all excellent. Minka is a journey to get to in and of itself but Bururake, if you have never been there, maybe a challenge to find. Insure you ask directions as other reviewers have mentioned. You will not be disappointed. Arrive early, there are not many tables available, it’s a very small restaurant and they lock the doors when the restaurant is full. They also have a small place to purchase souvenirs and a full bar on premises. Enjoy!More
