Great food and service. Highly recommend. Our waiter, Ward, made us feel right at home. The grouper was phenomenal. Best ceviché I’ve ever had.

Great pan handle vacation.VRBO at Secrest. They have many rules for both the pool use and beach use. Weather was humid with periods of rain every day. Beach sand was fabulous in the seacoast ambience was great. Crabby Steve’s on the beach was a hit. Outstanding food at a reasonable price. Deep sea fishing with Josh Sauls at heritage travel excursions. Excellent time caught many fish and even a large bull shark. Old Florida Fish House restaurant was fantastic amazing food and can serve efficiently over 1000 people at a time unbelievable. Grayton Beach was more laid-back not as many rules along the beach front and was truly an enjoyable time. Five stars for the whole vacation. Flying in to Panama city was actually a breeze even with three children under three and 80 pounds of fish to take back home

We arrived on a Tuesday night only to find the rooftop bar closed (lack of help). This really put a damper on my creative anniversary dinner plan. However, we were at the Pearl, so said, why not. We started with a signature cocktail and then were escorted to our table. Our server, Kimberly was masked and attentive to our needs without being in our face. At the end of dinner, she even brought us an anniversary dessert to take and eat at home. Kimberly was pleasant, happy and took great pride in her service to her customers. Thank you all at Havana Beach for making our 30th anniversary so special.
also, they had a player piano playing music softly so that people could still talk!!!

We were celebrating July 4th. Table of seven adults. We arrived early and had drinks on the roof top bar (excellent). We ordered dinner and it took more than one hour to receive the food. The manager had to come and tell us the center cut beef tenderloin did not meet their standards and had to be re-done which came out 20 minutes after the other meals. Two fresh catch grilled blackened red snapper... both burnt to a char and very dry. Shrimp and grits perhaps sitting too long was gelatinous and un-eatable. Two Australian Wagyu steaks were also burnt to char on the outside and undercooked/rare in middle. We complained they did not charge us for the shrimp and grits but snootily said "everyone usually raves about the food." Like we were the crazy ones. The couple next to us left without eating their entrees as they too were burnt. The service was slow, inattentive, and the food was terrible. Between the bar and restaurant, I spent over 3 hours and $550... the most expensive and worst experience of our vacation week. The 20% gratuity automatically added, was clearly undeserved here and counterproductive to a quality service experience.

At first sight this place was great. The wait staff was amazing and talked about how great the food and drinks were. He raved about the awards they had won and Said "I'm setting the bar high because we are going to break through it. After hearing how great the drinks were supposed to be I ordered a smoked old fashioned. Didn't taste or smell any smoke and was a mediocre old fashioned. My wife and I's meals weren't that great just average. My son ordered a cheeseburger from the kids menu. He couldn't eat it. I thought he was just complaining, I tried it and it was so overly seasoned and salty I wouldn't eat it. Overall a bad experience save your money go somewhere else.

It started out with the hostess being very rude when I asked if you could order something to go. She said she didn't know and go to the bar and ask. I sat at the bar for close to fifteen minutes and the bartender was no were to be seen. I asked the hostess if there was a bartender and she just shrugged her shoulders. Not what I would expect from a fine dining establishment. I ended up leaving.

Terrible experience. The order didn't have all ingredients and the white wine was kind warm and had to wait for while to get adequate temperature. Our meals got more than 45 minutes to arrive. It was a disaster. The only thing good was the location. The food also was nothing special at all.

Went for lunch today and there were flies (not just a couple but dozens) everywhere around our table and the open tables around us. They were landing on the tables, glasses, silverware, napkins, high chairs and every other surface. We mentioned this to the 3 restaurant employees standing at the hostess stand when we left and didn’t even get a “we’ll take care of that” or “so sorry”. Also, our waitress seemed to have every table inside and outside; therefore, the customer service was lacking. My water glass sat empty the second half of my meal and no one came by to refill it or my husband’s ice tea. Being locals, we have enjoyed the restaurant before but not sure given the lack of cleanliness that we will ever be back.

Had really high hopes after an excellent visit in February of 2024. We were celebrating one year of engagement and also my Fiancés golden birthday (24yrs on the 24th) the waiter seemed confused as to what we were celebrating. The vibe was off and didn’t seem to be what it was the past year. It seemed to be more of a “hotel restaurant” than a “AAA Four-Diamond”. The food was good in years past, the service just seemed off.

We visited (or tried) the rooftop bar of the Pearl Hotel (part of Havana beach bar and grill I think. What a disorganized mess. Poor bartender was overwhelmed. Heard him state he was 8 drink tickets behind. Heard him ask a staff member to try the drink he made to make sure it tasted ok before he served it. We sat about the bar 10 minutes and finally left. No one was available to serve us. This is a management and training issue! Staff were trying their best but this was not working. We left and went to another rooftop and got served right away and had excellent drinks and service, and this place was way busier than Havana.

The service was unbelievably slow. We just got water after being there 40 minutes. Our waiter was absent most of the evening. The waitress at the table next to us noticed and took our orders. She also came back several times to check on us. The wait between appetizers and entrees was about 30 minutes. The food was good but the service was horrible. No paper towels in the ladies room. Just unacceptable.

Almost unbelievable inflexibility and rudeness. Went to Havana Beach Bar and Grill—in the The Pearl Hotel at Rosemary Beach.
Quickly setting the situation—Thanksgiving weekend. Rivalry week in college football. Immediately following tree lighting. Big crowd.
Perhaps a small thing to some, but in north Florida and with customers primarily from the South, college football is very important—especially Thanksgiving weekend. The bar area was crowded and the bar’s TV was on.
The TV was initially showing TCU/Kansas State. When that game ended multiple customers in the bar (including me) were asking to switch channels to various other games.
The response each time was they do not change the TV at all during a shift—ever. So the next game showing was Washington/Washington State—a game of minimal interest to customers in the bar. Again, despite multiple customer requests to show other games.
To make matters more frustrating was the rude way the manager would refuse. Very curt. Wouldn’t explain why. No smile. Clearly annoyed by a customer bothering him with a question.
Was a conversation among other customers at the bar who experienced the same refusal and curt rudeness in reaction to the question. It was far from a complaint just from me.
Really surprising attitude and manner of speaking to people.
This hotel is popular in the area and views itself as a four/five star property—but pretty arrogant. The bar and grill is not one of the most popular spots in the area—can pretty much always find a seat when places nearby are packed.
Perhaps now I know why.

We arrived just after opening time (5PM) and were seated outside at a comfortable and socially distanced table, as we watched the sun set over the Gulf. Our waiter, Gabe, was always there when we needed him, and was knowledgeable about the menu. There is a craft bar with a huge selection of spirits. The food itself was fantastic. The menu is relatively limited with a blackened grouper, two steaks, chicken, and shrimp and grits as the main entrees. Our party had everything but the chicken and no one was disappointed with their meal. We topped it off with a chocolate creme brule, which I would highly recommend.

We dined at the Havana Beach Bar & Grill located within The Pearl Hotel while on vacation in Rosemary Beach. Excellent experience! The atmosphere is like being in old time Key West or Havana. Very cool! Service, food and wine were terrific. Just wish we had the opportunity to visit the rooftop (bad weather) or hang out in the lounge. Just ran out of time.

This is an amazing restaurant. Besides the aesthetics of the place, the food is absolutely amazing. The Caesar salad was perfect and the homemade dressing was unlike I’ve ever had. The French onion soup is possibly the best I’ve ever had. We were told it takes a couple days to make the soup and it was so worth it. The shrimp pasta was incredible. We will be coming back to this place. The food and service are both 5 stars.
