We went for lunch with a group of 43 people, even the group was big they were very well organised. It's my second time here and the food was very tasty and carefully prepared.

We ate following our French friend Roland's recommendation. We were not disappointed, the staff were very helpful considering we are English and can barely speak the language The menu was in French but after there help we ordered and can say the food was delicious and beautifully served. we will definitely be back.

7 in party including 2 vegan, we booked in advance requesting vegan dishes, they were quick to say they could accommodate. Without exception the food was fantastic & beautifully presented. The best vegan dishes we had during our stay over 8 days in the region. The local wines suggested were great quality and good value. The service throughout was friendly... More

How anybody can describe this food as average and ordinary escapes me! Everything is kitchen made from bread to ice cream to chocolates and all from fresh local produce. The reason this restaurant doesn't have Michelin star must be to do with something other than the food. From the amuse bouche to the coffee chocolates it is all very good.... More

we ate both lunch and dinner here. The lunch at €13.50 was excellent value with plat du jour , glass of wine ( but not a good one) and dessert. Food was well prepared and tasty. The dinner was similar.

Typical French auberge with helpful staff. We visited on a very hot day and it was lovely to sit outside in the shade.

Very average food; combinations of flavours didn't really work and I did not really enjoy my meal. Standard set of veg etc with all the mains whether they were appropriate for the dish or not. Much of food cooked sous vide and reheated.... nothing wrong with that as long as it works well! Environment is quite pleasant although they need... More

We reserved for Sunday lunch here and sitting out on the terrace, we were served will an outstanding menu of traditional French cuisine - at a very reasonable 28 Euros per head. Madame and her staff were friendly making us welcome. We enjoyed an 'amuse-bouche' before some outstanding dishes far removed from the usual Perigordian standard. The presentation of each... More

We had lunch here with my two girls, 5 and 7. The food and wine were excellent. The appetiser of Asparagus soup followed by an amazing asparagus tart, chicken dish and dessert were amazing. The waiter spoke some English and were very pleasant to us. The girls loved their lunch as well.

We found this unassuming auberge by chance and were absolutely delighted by the amazing food and delightful and friendly staff - so much so that we drove back there from Eyemet for lunch later in the week. It is the best in traditional French cooking at a very reasonable price. We could not recommend this too highly.
