Have eaten at Hippos numerous times over the years and never really been impressed. Average food and service.

Sorry, noisy, poor service, average quality, tried it again after not being there for a while, has not improved plenty of better choices in the area
The nachos is just delicious one of the nicest I've had in a long time. Well done too on the great almond milk coffees. Love the brand milk you use. We'll be back.
Food was quick how ever was cold most likely out of a bain marie. For $20 for fish and chps should be cooked fresh. Drinks came out about 10 minuets after food. And no table service.
Hippos serves great coffee and meals with a young team who do a pretty good job The venue can get very noisey when its busy due to the tiled foors
This place only looks small from the outside but inside there are lots of big tables which are good for groups. Service and coffee are both good and they have the Sunday papers! Park in the carpark at the back if it is busy.

On holidays here and I had 3 take away coffees and loved them all. Looked lovely to eat inside as well. Take away coffees are served from a separate hippo express window. Toby estate coffee done well! Thanks.
