Went to the Tuesday night beach BBQ at Kaibo and was really disappointed. It started from the beginning. Trying to arrange transport there and back to hotel on seven mile beach was a hassle and not cheap. The food was just average and I was...really shocked and disappointed there was absolutely no seafood for the high price. The desert was a really uninspiring dry rum bread. To make matters worse my pina colada was one of the worst I ever had. The only nice thing was the view and that prevented me from giving a one start review.More
We love the setting, the cleanliness and the friendliness of all the staff here. Can’t beat the pizza made in the outdoor oven. Drinks are good, dare say they have some of the best conch fritters on the island. Gueirmo (sp) and Alisa were engaging;...friendly and efficient waitstaff. We have been to the Tuesday night beach barbecue three years in a row and have made it a “must do” event during our vacation. Thanks Mike (manager) for continuing to run a great operation !More
We found this place on accident and have since had almost every meal here!! Everything is delicious! My favorite Is the crab and shrimp sandwich as a wrap. 😍 Our waitress Alisa is the BEST. She’s a big reason why we love this place so...much. ❤️❤️ thank you for the exceptional service.More
We ordered a double fries to share and cocktails. Best part was the view the drinks and the incredible service from Dani. I brought friends visiting and they asked to come back. Kaibo is real Cayman flavour.
Our group of 9 made a 30 minute stop here during a catamaran trip. Danni, our server was fantastic -she was quick and efficient, and kept us on schedule. I would certainly stop there again when in Cayman.
Ate here twice, poor service both times and one time we were sitting at the bar! Food was good, especially the Summer Shrimp Rolls and anything from the outdoor pizza oven. The buffet on Tuesday was okay.

I am not sure, but I think the ferry and their shuttle are one in the same. So you have to stick to their schedule for the BBQ at the more casual Kaibo on the beach/and or "Upstairs" (which is more much expensive). The Kaibo ferry goes back and forth from Camana Bay. Rum Point Restaurant (only open for dinner - not to be confused with the Wreck Bar that operates during the day) also offers boat service from SMB via Red Sail Sports catamaran. Not sure where it departs - again I'd check their website. Same thing though - you're stuck on their schedule. Never taken either, but I know the Red Sail one offers cocktails. Personally I would also recommend renting a car. You can go to Rum Point, Kaibo and star fish point. It's also nice to see the whole island. You can go all the way around the East End if you want. Lots to see and several restaurants to stop at for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Easy drive and you can't get lost.
