Location and contact

Cayman's favorite beach restaurant - worth going further for! Part thatched tiki bar, part European beach chic, part breezy Californian cool, and a generous dose of Caribbean nauticalia – you’re in for an aesthetic treat at this Cayman beachfront restaurant with outdoor grill and wood fired pizza oven. Casual fine dining is the style; locally sourced ingredients, simple preparation, amazing flavours. The creative menu of affordable plates is a comforting crowd pleaser. Look out for Barefoot Beach BBQ, every Tuesday, where the crowds jump up to live music, get down to limbo, and enjoy unlimited local dishes from the BBQ buffet. The monthly Luna Del Mar full moon dinner serves up a 3-course sharing

This was a pleasant laid back atmosphere. It was not crowded when we were there, but service was a little slow (taking orders, water re-fills, etc.) even though friendly. Food was good for beach food, but not spectacular. I would certainly choose this place over...More

For many this is a place to leave the ferry and hop a shuttle in their rush to get to Rum Point. BIG MISTAKE! IF you are seeking quiet, a gentle breeze, an unpopulated beach, a few starfish, palms and terrific food and drink -...More

This place is absolutely breathtaking! We came here for the Lunar Del Mar dinner and it went above our expectations. I have food allergies and the chef and supervisor changed some of the menu to meet my needs. We sat right by the ocean for...More

The pizza was good. The service was fine. I had a grilled snapper sandwich and that was ok. The optional leafed green salad was exactly as it was described, nothing else but their a limited amount of their lemon pepper dressing. My sister-n-law enjoyed her...More

We were grateful to find Kaibo open after 7pm on the Sunday that we arrived. (It was hard to find a place to eat that late.) The menu was well-priced for the selection and quality. Two of us ordered fish dishes that were incredibly fresh...More

We were staying on the East End and signed up for the Tuesday KAIBO Beach BBQ, so glad we did! The ambience was great, BBQ right on the beach; entertainment was excellent (the band was Bonafide -- great cover band for 70s and 80s music)...More

The location is great! The service we received was a team that worked together to make sure we had what we needed when we needed it. The hummus appetizer was delicious. The burger was ginormous! The fries were a decent side. The drinks were good...More

Casual and laidback with good service and fresh seafood. Also has a pizza oven on the premises. Went for lunch and had fresh Mahi as well as Snapper. Both dishes were perfectly cooked. Beer and cocktails were perfect as was the service.

We had been to the Upstairs a few days before and decided to go to the beach area for lunch one day. We ordered hamburgers. They were enough to feed a couple of people -- absolutely huge and very delicious.

I went there for lunch and ordered fish and chips! I do not think there is a barbecue in the menu. Come to eastern NC and there is a barbecue restaurant at every corner!

I am not sure, but I think the ferry and their shuttle are one in the same. So you have to stick to their schedule for the BBQ at the more casual Kaibo on the beach/and or "Upstairs" (which is more much expensive). The Kaibo... More
