I have been visiting this gastro pub for years . And thought it was time to sing its praises . The Staff are brilliant . The food is fantastic . All I can say is don't eat anything that day because the portions are huge . You never come away feeling Hungary . The choice is brilliant . And everything... More

Lovely Sunday Lunch, A warm welcome for us and our two well behaved dogs. There is a great choice of gins available too, the rhubarb and ginger gin arrived with loads of fresh berries, delicious, and set the scene for a relaxing afternoon in this sleepy village inn. Menu -great choice and Sunday roast had two choices of beef or... More

Although we have been frequent visitors to Edern, we have missed out on this before. Four of us went on a winter Friday eve, and were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of both food and service. No need to book, a menu from which we had difficulty choosing, and very good quality food. We shall return.

The ship has got to be the best eating place in the area. A wide range of cuisine excellently prepared and presented.

Dinner tonight with 4 friends, I ordered the special of Salmon en crute, what a disappointment, a sliver of salmon & spinach about 1/2 inch thick in soggy pastry. Totally unseasoned & tasteless, probably from Brakes Bros or Iceland @ £14.95 vastly overpriced for such a lousy offering. We ordered two starters to share, normally a generous portion of tempora...
