As we live within walking distance we use Choaladda probably more than we should, but that's only because it's fantastic! The food is delicious, fresh, and plenty, the family who run it are the sweetest, kindest people who offer the highest service!

We thought we'd just nip out & try this place as we have past it many times & never gone in. If you want a fancy resturant then walk away their are defiantly no frills. But the food is simple honest tasty Thai at a reasonable price. It's probably better to try this place early in the week as I... More

Good service, good food. I was confused to read about a massaman curry being to watery. Maybe it's me, but when I visit Thialand, (often) it's always been that way. However it's only Strood and the Medway towns, so it's exceptional for the area. It's a place you could easily miss, which is what I like, as you can always... More

First time to try this Thai restaurant in Strood. Though appears a touch plain and basic inside (needs a little tlc),the staff are gentle and welcoming. The food is slightly different in composition to other Thai restaurants in that the meat or fish is the primary focus of each dish and the sauce secondary...ie it's the accompaniment not the other... Made a last minute booking on Friday night and was not disappointed with both the service and meal. There was a large party in but the standard was as good as always

Had a takeaway delivered from this place last night. I'd wanted to try it for a while based on the great reviews from here and friends. Whether we just caught them on a bad night or have different tastes from other people I'm not sure but what we got in no way matched what I expected. Massaman curry was like... More

Had read the reviews and was disappointed. The Choaladda special for £6.50 wasn't worth it, it had no taste. There were chillis in my dish that shouldn't have been. When askd if they had a non alcholic beer, we had a smile and a no, no, no, so asked for a coke. 15 minutes later we had to ask where... More

I've been visiting this lovely family run Thai restaurant for several years now and have never had a bad meal. Please don't be put off by the fact that it's quiet, it's a gem that needs to be discovered 😊

Always book as can get busy at weekends. Parking to the rear in a public car park. Lovely authentic Thai food and not too pricey. Try it and see for yourself.

Seven of us ate at this restaurant on New Year's Eve. No special thing made about the night by the restaurant but the food we ate was all excellent. We had a range of starters and main courses from the full menu and all the food was served in attractive dishes to complement the meals. Service was slow to start... More
