Had a lovely roast dinner here. The children's portion was huge. All very tasty and proper home cooked food. First visit since new owners taking over, really impressed with the food and service. Will be visiting again.

Very good food and service. Landlord and landlady excellent. Reasonable prices. Recently reopened under new owners. Making a good effort with good food at fair prices.

Met a colleague here who had stayed overnight. Felt a little like stepping back in time - quite old fashioned interior. Only had a coffee so no comment on anything else, probably was a touch pricey for a cuppa for the venue.
