Restaurants like us members of the public have good and bad days. Our experiences with the Hengist did take a dip a while back but in the recent year or two things have improved. If you are unhappy, for whatever reason you should always speak to staff at the time. I have no problem complaining but equally have no problem praising. It would be interesting to hear what the staff offer to recompense you and reassure the rest of us of their positive actions and thoughts on this.
